Review of Arka Jain University from a second year student
Likes
- Infrastructure is good and is under construction so there is more to come.
- Faculty is good and very knowledgeable and helpful.
Dislikes
- Campus life is literally zero and there nothing around the campus but just inside the campus.
- The location of the college really bad and is not at all safe at night and also the road to the college campus is just bad and the college does nothing about it.
Remarks :
I didn't wanted to leave the city for now that's why I chose this college as this is the best college in our city. There is a online test which you need to give if you want to get into this college. The addmission process is fairly simple and there is no such eligibility criteria .
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reason I chose this course is I had interest in the buisness field and wanted to learn more. The course curriculum is good but it can be better in some aspects. The qualification of faculties are top notch and the faculties are very friendly and also very knowledgeable. Some are little bit irritated and are less likely to listen to students. The teaching methods are not upto the mark and can be better. Exam are conducted timely infact a little earlier than expected but it's good overall .
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for internships as of now but I will in the near future as internships are compulsory in our college. 3rd year student are mandate to do the internships and in general you get internship opportunities from 2nd year.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria is simple not anything special but no backlogs and 7 cgpa and above. Highest package of our college was last year it was 21 lpa and the student was from BBA program. And avg package is around 2 to 3 lpa
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
35000 per semester for BBA or 70000 a year. 1000 form registration fee 12000 addmission fees Caution fee 2000 No other compulsory charges Fees for b.com is 30000 per semester or 60000 a year Other charges are similar If you have 80% and above in your 12th then you'll get a 7000 rs discount per semester.
Campus Life :
Our grand fest is "navotsav" conducted in the month of October,and ther are many other fests like aarzoo , yuva , runbhoomi etc. the year is filled with fests and students participating are always busy. Library only has subject related book nothing else and is very small compared to a real college library. Sports facilities are good and there is courts of every major sport. Clubs are there but social life not that great as the college is in the outskirts and there nothing to do around the college.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for a hostel as I am a day scholer but hostel is not in the campus and it's in the near by market area and it's a private hostel amenities are okish there. But is very expensive and not worth it .

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.

You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA
My Dream College
Placement Experience :
College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
