A HONEST review of my beloved College
Likes
- The infrastructure is solid, libraries, canteens etc
- The campus is always clean and greenry is there
Dislikes
- The absurd amount of students who should be in 5th grade.
- The placement issue due those students. It is what it is.
Remarks :
No factors. I was forced too. If I could, I would have choses DU or something else. Due to family and financial reasons I am stuck in this sh!thole of a college. It was never my first choice but yea, here I am.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is good. It's well structured. Nothing much to say on that as I don't have much experience of anything else apart from what I am studying right now. Faculty are great too. With actual industrial experience.
Internships Opportunities :
Not yet, but I hope to in future. Alot of opportunities arise for internships with companies relevant to courses. Alot of online courses are there to complete too and the internships provide good stipend too as far as I know.
Placement Experience :
Placements are decent. Only thing holding them off are sub-par students. Their is lack of nothing. Library, faculty and infra are all there. Its the greed of the University which is holding it back. As they just allow anyone to take admission and that deteriorate the performance of the college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee for my course is around 35,000 per semester which comes out around 70000 per year. As it is also increasing out of nowhere. For me it is 35,000 and for the batch 2024 it was 36,000 something. The transportation charges are different for those who want to avail the transport facility. 13,000 and 20,000 respectively for different. Locations. This too increased from 12,000 for the 1st location and to 20,000 from 18,000 for all the other locations. The scholarship is there but only applies for 1 semester. Depending on how much marks you got in 12th. I got 84% so I had to pay 7,000 less in my 2nd semester. That's ALL.
Campus Life :
Life is amazing with alot of fests and activities taking place often. But I don't take part in them so I don't have much experience apart from which I actually attended and enjoyed alot which was in October.
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted for hotel. As this is my hometown so I dont really find a need for hostel. But those who have, I have heard the food is basic as any other hostel and fees is decent too like around 7,000 or 10,000 per month for a room which 2-3 boys share.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.
Average University in Jamshedpur in low fee
Placement Experience :
You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA
My Dream College
Placement Experience :
College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
