This college comes under one of the most prestigious universities of India, Delhi University. This was my main motivation to study for cuet and join one of the colleges. The process of admission included giving CUET after graduating 12th. Then filling a preference sheet from DU’s official site. The DU registration has 3 phases. Firstly, submitting our data. Secondly, filling preference sheet, i had jdmc as my 9th preference. Thirdly, you are allotted college according to the list.
Course curriculum stays same throughout delhi university. The academics are gives more importance in my college rather than co curriculum activities. The teachers here are very liberal. The faculty is also very good.
No, i haven’t started any internships yet though i gave an interview for a few. I had to reject the proposal of those jobs as they were full time and i wanted to focus on my studies better. The internship offered to me was in gurgaon and paid 12000 per month. The duration being 3 months.
The placement is also excellent like all of DU colleges. The placement cell works pretty hard for internships and finding jobs. Over the time the students have been working hard and getting hired at nice companies after graduation.
The yearly fees for BA here is 22000. If you want to try out there are numerous sponsorships in the campus. The fees stays same for OBC students. The fees may vary in vocational centre of our college. Starting fees for some courses like journalism being 27000 and fashion/interior designing being 47000
There are numerous societies which we can join like- debate society, dance society, singing etc. Many fests are held here, the recent was Jyotsna(Diwali Mela). JDMC has one of the most vast libraries in DU having all kinds of books. Sports activities are also given huge importance, the children in them have to work harder though to cope up with studies. The infrastructure is genuinely very pretty. There are trees and greenery all around the campus. Jdmc is probably one of the cleanest colleges of DU. You cannot find wrappers anywhere on the ground.
No, I don’t stay in the hostel but have a few friends from there. The rooms are quite nice. The food provided by mess is appetising. But the only downside here is that the hostel is provided only for first year students.

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
