I just wanted to get into Delhi University I never heard about this college before but when I got this college I was really happy my score was 667 and the cut off was 650 for general category the highest cut off was 700 for bcom hons. In DU the most demanding course is b.com hons. and the cut off for b.com hons. can range between 650 to 800 for a good college. JDMC is a great college the infrastructure is also very pretty it is a girls college and the students there are friendly. Teachers are great they always offer a helping hand they are very understanding and friendly. It is an off campus college but it’s facilities are great
I chose b.com hons. Because I am a commerce student and I am preparing for CA so bcom hons is considered as the best option with CA and many students from my course are preparing for CA and many have already cleared foundation exam. The teachers are great they always make sure that you understand the concept they don’t put too much pressure on you for the assignments and presentations. This course has 6 semesters (3 years) if you want a bcom hons degree but if you want a minor degree also you can do it for 4 years then you’ll get a minor degree of the subject that you chose but if you don’t the. You can do it for 3 years. The faculty is great the washrooms and corridors are always clean and the college also promotes sustainability.
When I took admission in this college I paid 2I755 rupees including tuition fees and all after that I have not paid any money. This amount is for the whole year for b.com hons after this you only pay exam fee which costs around I500 to 2000 per semester. The fees is very reasonable according to the course and the college actually provide good services.
The college conducts a fest called symphony in between jan to feb it is the biggest fest. They also conduct a Diwali fest called jyostna and the fresher’s party and many more. There are 97000 books available in the library and it is very big you can easily issue a book but you have to return it in a week otherwise they charge a fine of 0.5 rupee per day. There are a lot of societies like drama club, music club, fashion club, etc
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
