- The college campus is nice, the faculties are good, and I've made some great friends. The surrounding area is pleasant, giving off a positive vibe. The food options are good, with cafes and restaurants nearby, and Chowpatty is close by. There are street vendors outside the college, and the college also has a canteen and a garden. In front, there is NIT, and a little further away is AIIMS, along with many other colleges nearby, making it a student hub. The atmosphere is great, and there are plenty of quiet spots within the college where you can sit and study.
- There's always something happening on campus. Right next to the college, there is the DDU Auditorium, where events are frequently held with notable speakers like Samay Raina, the founder of Oyo, Zakir Khan, etc. The college has a very large ground, and the study environment is great. The teachers are friendly, they don’t scold much, and they support students. They teach well and understand the situation of students.
Dislikes
- The girls' washroom is often very dirty, and it gets clogged. There is a common room for girls, but its condition is poor, and it's difficult to even sit there, let alone breathe comfortably. Also, some unwanted people manage to get inside the college, and there isn’t a single guard present, which makes me feel unsafe personally. Moreover, dogs roam inside the college building, and since I’m afraid of dogs, it makes me uncomfortable.
Remarks :
It is in the city area, easily accessible by traveling. Nearby, there are book stores, shops and printing shops. Transportation facilities are convenient, with a bus station and railway station close by. There is a Chowpatty nearby, offering good food options. The college has a canteen, a water cooler, and good parking facilities. All necessary labs are available, and the labs are very well-equipped.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose BSc in IT because it aligns with my interest. It provides a strong foundation in programming,data management which are essential skills for a career in today's digital world.This course also opens up opportunities in both private and government sectors, which fits my career aspirations.My faculties are friendly are qualified.They explain well, have good behavior, and clear doubts.Even if asked repeatedly, they answer patiently, re-explain if something is not understood. Before exams,they conduct revisions, highlight important questions,mark key topics. The BSc course is of 3 years, and some changes have been made due to NEP (National Education Policy).Semester exams are conducted, with a total of 6 semesters in 3 years.There are 2 internal exams and the best of the two or the average is calculated.Marks are allocated for assignments, practical exams, and viva, which carry 30 marks, while the theory exam carries 70 marks, making it a total of 100 marks for each semester.
Internships Opportunities :
No I have not opted yet. I am in first year. For details about the companies that visit your college for placements and the internship process, it’s best to refer to your college's placement cell or the official college website. The placement cell typically provides information about companies that come for recruitment, the types of roles offered, and the selection process. As for internships, they may either be organized through the placement cell, or you might have to look for opportunities independently or through platforms like LinkedIn, Internshala, or college connections.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
2500 per year, exam fees is 1400 per semester, there are total 6 semester in 3 years of bsc, mininimal cost, affordable price, government college. There are alot of scholarships provided for EWS, sc, sc, obc students.
Campus Life :
In my college, an unofficial fresher's event is held, with each branch having its own specific celebration, and sometimes all branches merge for a combined event. Every year, the college organizes an annual function in the campus around January-February. There is an Ethnic Day where everyone comes dressed in traditional attire. During Ganesh Puja, a pandal is set up outside the college, and Ganpati Bappa is worshipped. On Holi, a DJ is arranged on the college campus. Our college has an e-library as well as a physical library, where books related to each branch and subject, previous year question papers, exam summaries, and newspapers are available. Inter-college sports are organized, and our college has NCC Navy and Army wings. Our college excels in sports and has facilities like basketball, handball, and badminton courts. The college has a very large ground and a dedicated sports committee. Our college has a meme page, a confession page, and an official page on Instagram.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

Placement Experience :
From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
