The college is situated in very beautiful campus along with other colleges of Sinhgad institute. There is no such group discussion or interview for admission as the admission process is done through CET so there is nothing like interview . it's admission is solely based on CET marks and cutoffs. When I enrolled in 2021 the cutoff were 95+ for general category.
I opted for this college as it offered a well curated curriculum covering every aspect of legal subjects, with highly qualified faculty. Exams are conducted on regular basis with moderately difficult level. The college overall provides a holistic learning environment.
The college does not provides for internship. One has to look for internship themselves. I have done internship in district court, highcourt, corporate firms and in house counsel. The stipend vary from places to places. In some internship you get nothing while in some you may expect upto 5k or more.
The college is now developing an active placement cell. previously there was placement cell but it wasn't active. The college provides placement but the opportunities are very limited and provide for only few students.
The fees is around 32k -35k per year. There are scholarship available for different categories, as well as caste basis fees relaxation is also provided by the college. The college also charges around 1100 rupees each semester for examination.
The college conducts ample of fests and competitions. The most famous fest conducted by the institute is karandak where multiple competitions between Sinhgad institute colleges are held. The law college flagship event is shrimati kashibai navale national moot court competition where team from different colleges across the country participates.
The college offers hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The hostel also provided for mess . The infrastructure of hostel is so so not so good as it does not have any in built lifts or washing machines which poses a serious problem to live there. The food is also okay okay.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
