Test (including GK, VA, Quants etc)I think atleast 40% Interview(just be confident and speak anything) If you pass in these they call you to Bangalore for your admission (compulsory) you pay the whole amount there and meet with the Father for a kind of interview (not that serious just talking) and you’re in. Perks: affordable, exposure, always on to something never idle Cons: 85% attendance, very strict, not like other colleges, has a uniform (dress code)
I chose BBA as I’m from a commerce background. The faculty is highly qualified renowned and is very knowledgeable very professional but rigour. There are 2 exams MID SEM and END SEM for me mid Sem was tougher than end Sem but they’re not that tough if you’re from commerce background. There are 2 CIA (continuous internal assessment) which are basically like projects of 20 marks each group Or individual CIA 1(20 marks) + CIA 2 is mid Sem 50 marks converted into 25 marks + CIA 3 (20 marks)+ CIA 4 is end Sem 50 marks converted into 30+ 5 marks for attendance sums up to 100 marks
First year there is no internship like it’s your choice if you want to but in second year you have to do a compulsory internship. A very less people get selected from the campus internships so most of the people have to find internships on their own. It’s in the end of the second year before coming to the third year.
On campus Placement are there. Companies like Deloitte, zomato, deutsche bank etc come. It is through centre of placement and guidance available in campus. It has a procedure that I’m not aware of as I’m in first year but I think it includes applications, gd etc. Your GPA also matters
In Kengeri campus for BBA it is 2,50,000 but in other campuses it’s different. My peers have paid the same. I think there’s scholarship based on merit. The 5,000 out of 2,50,000 is what is registration fees if you withdraw your admission they cut 5,000
Business fests keep happening but main fests are SPECTRA (happened around sep-oct) and PROHELIUM( jan-feb). Our main flagship event is MAGNOVITE (November) which we host for other colleges so we don’t get to participate. There are cultural fests like MAGNIFICAT -nov(for music), NRITTA (for dance), SPORTS DAY. Big competitions like blossoms(jan), darpan (aug). Christ is famous for its clubs from business clubs to cultural clubs it has everything our main team is CUSBMA which organises or controls everything (Christ University School of Business and Management Association). Kengeri campus has the biggest campus of all. (78.5 acres) It has lakes birds even hens and stuff it also has 9 canteens, 6 blocks and 2 libraries. Christ has a site called knowledge pro where you get all the information also access library books online.
The hostel is only for boys and not for girls hostel is available for only MBA girls. So girls can look for a pg near by. boys curfew timings are 930 and they are not allowed to take food inside the hostel hostel rules are very strict. I live in Minerva it is right beside the campus there are many pgs like zolo, happy live etc all the rent ranges from 12–18k per month
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
