Remarks :
The reason I chose RNS Institute of Technology was I had finished my 11th and 12th at RNS PU College. The campus was familiar to me. It was within 5km radius from my home and it had public bus facilities also. There will be no interviews for CET and COMEDK students but there will be a talk with the management students.There was no written test and no group discussions.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the course Information Science and Engineering because it is booming and another reason was I would get more opportunities to sit for more companies for the placement.The faculty are of high quality. There are many faculties with Doctorate and PhD degrees and faculties are always available and friendly.In fact many faculties will refer us to industries.They will help us to get internships and placements aslo. The internals are conducted and the difficulty is also easy.The students will be trained very well here.
Internships Opportunities :
I had 2 internship opportunities. I had worked has web developer at one company with technologies like JS and React. In another company I had worked has software developer intern with technologies like Kotlin and android app development.
Placement Experience :
There is department for the placement activities.The RNSIT is tied up with many companies.Some of them are Infosys,Accenture and many other startups.The recruiters are LTIMindtree, Cognizant and they got around 100+ students in total.The highest package was 52lacs in Adobe and average package is around 7 lacs per annum. The placements is around 90-95%.I'm planning to go to job after my degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So for normal CET seats it's Rs.102371 per year.For CET SNQ quota seats its Rs.43565 per year.For COMEDK quota Rs.245525 per year.For SC/ST quota its Rs.20000 per year.The management quota seats will vary from 1.6 lacs to 6-7 lacs depending on the branches.
Campus Life :
The campus life is very good.First I will tell about the huge auditorium with a capacity of 2000+ people. And there will be many events inside that auditorium and it has AC aslo. The second thing is the beautiful amphitheatre and pond inside the campus and the statue of RN Shetty sir. The library has all the department books with Wifi-facility. It has system also which can be used for research.The library is of high class. It has tables with bulb and charging points so that students can use their laptops.The classrooms are also good and can hold upto 80-90 students easily.The sports is given atmost importance and the PE teacher also supports the athletes and our college is good is basketball and kabaddi.There are many students clubs like AURA for fashion,Synapse and many other clubs.CAT is the main club which hosts intra and inter college fests.Dhwani club for singing.Kannada rajyostava, Pantheon and Parichay are the fests which are hosted every year.One can enjoy life at RNSIT.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facilities is very good.The rooms are cleaned everyday.There is a company called Sodexo which looks after the whole hostel.The food is very good and it will be freshly and there will be wardon for every hostel.The hostel registration process is very easy and can get admission into the hostel during admission for college itself.There are many PG available near RNSIT.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
MSc Physics at Christ
Course Curriculum Overview :
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
