Dislikes
- Placements reviews given by the seniors.
- Students are not so smart and have less knowledge about this course.
- Less competition in class but more competition while going to placements because btech and mca students are in same placement cell.
Remarks :
Yes there is a much focus in student skills, so they take personal interviews to check student abilities for career councelling. I am a student of MCA and now in 1st year so placements are not started yet. Rest admission process are fast, and there is biometric also, you have to register during admission, your college domain email will be given to you and there is a website of cms of gift autonomous college, where you can login with the username given during admission, and where you can see all your marks, attendance, holidays, notices, etc etc.
Course Curriculum Overview :
For now, i choose this course because I was interested in coding, and all, and here the faculties for some subjects are good in all, both for having good conversation and teaching, and some subjects have teacher whose teaching methods are totally boring. For now, exams are like, there is 3 modular exams 25 each, and 25 marks (By taking average of 6 quizes, assignments, and experiments) for each subjects, that becomes (25+25+25+25=100) as internal. And 100 marks for SSP that is subject specified project, and 100 marks for semester.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internship yet because I am in 1st year of MCA. But according to seniors they said that you can do internships that college provides or you can also choose from outside but you have to approve by the College first.
Placement Experience :
As I have discussed with my seniors and from my fresher experience, students having skills and talents gets job easily in the placements but there are 80% students having no skills and less knowledge in this course. And seniors said that placements are less and offers less packages and most are startup companies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total tution fees is 1,10,000 per year and hostel fees is 70,000 per year, but if you are applying through OJEE councelling, and If you get any college through there you have to pay 10000 on OJEE official website which will be deducted from your tution fees later, and if you get TFW scheme, your fees will be reduced to 24000 per year excluding hostel fees. There are extra 120 for tie, 1600 for bleazure, and there is lunch fees for day scholar students which is 15000 per year. If you are a TFW student then you are not eligible of scholarships that are offered by college, but you can apply for government scholarships like postmatric, etc. and scholarship amount is 20000 per year. That much is the fees, as I am a TFW student and day scholar I have paid 10000 + 24000+ 15000+ 120+ 1600
Campus Life :
There is a Saturday night programs created by students and teachers having different groups, and there is hobby club, canteen, gym, sports, music, dance, etc. available. Classrooms are clean, and have AC rooms with wifi having speed 150mbps.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel fees is 70000/- per year, but I have not opted, but according to students there is a wifi available in hostel, rooms are average having 4 students each in one room. And food is not so good, according to hostel students.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
