Disappointed with college , worst experience ever !!!!!

- Infrastructure is quite good and they have placed water coolers on every corner.
- Faculty is nice , psychology faculty is good rest all are not okay
Dislikes
- There is no campus life. They only celebrate Saraswati Puja and teachers day sometimes.
- There are no fests or concerts in the college. Campus life is very boring. Faculty is okay , but they don't solve the doubts
Remarks :
There were no group discussions , interviews or written tests while taking admission as the college takes admission on the basis of merit . They release a merit list based on the intermediate marks and after that the students get admitted to the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have opted for psychology honours. It's a great course but you can only get a job in this field after you've completed your masters. Never take admission in kolhan university Worst experience ever !!!! They don't take exams on time and there Is no time table for anything. Wasted my 3 years.
Internships Opportunities :
College doesn't provide any internship but not with the four year degree program the internship is mandatory. So they have told us to find internships on our own You can take help from sites like internshala and gigindia.
Placement Experience :
There is no active placement cell in college and they don't even care about students future . Even they rarely take any classes Students have to find there options on their own. They can't depend on college for placement or internship They can take help from other job sites like internshala and fiverr.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
At the time of admission you'll have to pay somewhere around 5k including Everything. Then the examination fee is somewhat around 600-800 depending on the course . Then they also take semester fee that is 1200-1600 again depending on the course and there is some fee. Waiver for Sc/St category
Campus Life :
There are no fests or clubs in our college they only focus on bookish knowledge. Classrooms are fully furnished and desks are new with electricity supply . College has really big library but there is no chance to find any good book in good condition. They have old books with torn pages.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel facility available at our college but students my opt for a hostel or pg nearby as there are so many options available nearby in an affordable range . There are different hostels for boys and girls

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
