The college being in Delhi NCR and being the best college for Microbiology in Delhi University made me choose this college. There was no interview or group discussion round during admission. Entire admission and counseling process is online based conducted by Delhi University. The exam undertaken was CUET-UG conducted by NTA in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode. What attracted me the most to this college was that it offers plenty of educational trips, industrial visits, college trips and local trips.
Curriculum is in accordance with New Education Policy 2020 making it easier for the students to navigate through the course. Curriculum is designed to enhance learning of students alongwith an overall personality development. Ability Enhancement Course (AEC), Skill Enhancement Course (SEC) and Value Addition Course (VAC) provides a holistic development opportunity to students apart from their basic core course, enhancing their skills and social development. Faculties are highly educated and also carrying their research projects under CRG (College Research Grants). Students get a chance to work under these projects and improve their laboratory skills. Mode of teaching is Hindi and English. PPTs are used for teaching. Intense laboratory work enhance the learning. Semester end exams conducted in May-June (for odd semesters) and December-January (for even semesters). Exam difficulty level is easy to moderate contains only subjective questions.
College provides lot of internship offers particularly during vacations. Internships also offered within campus in form of summer internship (unpaid). Off campus industrial internships also provided for certain duration and are paid.
College has an active placement and internship cell. As per my course the placement opportunities are not much. But college offers good placement in other courses including Bcom, BSc Computer Science, and others. Highest salary package offered was 20 lakh. Companies visited include Infosys, Indian Army (for NCC) and many others.
Tuition fee I have paid in 2023 was 20,000. But this year a fee hike was observed taking it to 22,670. No fee hike is expected in near future. Student has no extra charges to pay except for examination fees that is to be paid every semester. It depends on the subjects a student chooses and whether the subject has both theory and practical component or theory only or practical component only. Merit scholarship is provided to toppers of all courses (about 3000) Other scholarship, fee concession and fee waiver are also there to help needy students.
College offers a vibrant campus life. Crowd here is much better than many DU colleges. These are plenty of societies from art, drama to debating and cybersecurity. This inculcates in students the soft skills like team work, leadership qualities and public speaking. College also offers NCC and NSS. Fest called 'SPLENDOR' occur in February. It's a 3 day long event including various performance from college students and a celebrity night. Library has plenty of books for courses and for various competitive exams including government exams. Daily supply of newspapers, magazines keep the library lively. It also has a Kindle zone for ebooks. There is one intra college sports competition including various sports like cricket, football, kho-kho, and many more. But the sports facilities are quite inadequate in college. One can't pursue practice on a regular basis. College has its own radio channel called radio TARANG 90.0 FM available in 20 km radius, run by students.
Hostel facility not provided by college but there are a number of PGs for boys and girls. Charges vary largely. PGs available as single, double or triple sharing rooms. Nearby localities also has flats for students. Connectivity is well here include cabs, autorickshaw, buses and metro.

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
