- The faculty here is extremely helpful and kind.
- The campus life is not so happening but it is calm and events are organised from time to time.
Dislikes
- The bathrooms of some floors in the hostel is not clean.
- The gyms are not well equipped. Some things are yet to add in gym.
Remarks :
The professors here are extremely helpful and kind to students. Also, there isn't much political things that takes place inside the University unlike others. You can get admission by appearing in CUET exam which is a basic exam you have to appear after 12th for getting admission into any of the central, state or deemed to be universities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose French Hons as the language French is one of the most widely spoken languages in world. The professors of French department especially are highly qualified, friendly and helpful to students. There are 3 internals held on every month out of which 2 are compulsory to sit in. At last of the semester, there is a semester end paper.
Internships Opportunities :
Our college doesn't provide internship opportunities as such but the professors here would definitely guide you for getting a good internship. And it is necessary to do atleast 3 internships before the last semester gets over.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements is nothing as such but the recruiting company prefers those who have good communication skills along with the proficiency in the language. One of the renowned recruiters is Amazon. The highest package is 7,00,000 lacs and the average is 5,00,000 lacs. Half of the students prefer to attain higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The students have to pay Rs. 3815(general, obc), 2900(sc,st) for 1st semester, Rs. 1995(general , obc), 1080(sc,st) for 2nd, 4th and 6th semesters and 2480(general , obc), 1565(sc,st) for 3rd and 5th semesters. And, the fee includes registration fee, tuition fee, library fee, student welfare fund, examination fee, grade card fee, Identity Card fee and medical fee. Also, the students whose family annual income is less than 10,00,000 per annum are provided scholarship.
Campus Life :
All the department organises their respective fests and all the students irrespective of the course and batch are welcome to enjoy. Also, every semesters, there are sports tournament organised, and every year there is a cultural event organised by the University. Other than these, the students themselves gather and celebrate all religions festival. The library is vast here, also to mention it's one of the most diverse library of foreign languages in world.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality of the girls hostel mess is above average but the boys hostel mess's food is average. The hostel are highly affordable as it's Rs. 225 per month. Also, is you take hostel, you are provided a table, a shelf, a chair, a cot and an almirah.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

My experience at NIAT
Placement Experience :
NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.

Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa.
