- Overall my college campus is amazing as it has good infrastructure
- It has highly qualified faculty members which are very nice
Dislikes
- The things which i dislike are that the datesheet is sometimes messy
- The datesheet of the previous years backlogs ties up.
Remarks :
The factors because of which i chose this college was the distance mode of degree. Because i was not able to do my degree in a regular mode so i chose this and also the subjects that is english literature.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course that is bachelors of arts because of the subject english literature. As i am very much interested in literature, poetry, drama, novals because i love reading which is one of my hobbies too. The qualification of the faculty members us very good they are all phd holders. The exams are conducted yearly.
Internships Opportunities :
No i havenot opted for the internship yet as i have not completed my degree. After completing my degree i will surely opt for my further studies like masters and phd degrees or any other course which will help me.
Placement Experience :
As i am doing my degree in distance mod that is not regular and it is non proffessional degree so there are no placements avaialable for such degree which is through distance mode. The ekigibility criteria for placement us a regular degree which is proffessional.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My degree that is bachelors of arts is a three years degree course...per year its fee is 7000 rupees along with the examination fee of rupees 1200. The college provides scholarships too like ST scholarship SC scholarship.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is good overall. The campus has very good infrastructure with good furnishing. It has library also available which provides books related to the courses. Many activities are arranged in the campus.
Hostel Facilities :
No i didnt opt for the hostel as i am doing my degree in distance mode. But yes i have heard about the hostel facilty that the hostel is well furnished with proper security and hygenic food is also provided.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
