- Campus life and the infrastructure are all good and the faculty are highly educated.
- We have the best club national service scheme so we conduct camp and other events which is helpful for the students.
Dislikes
- Timing for the hostel 9pm night is one of the main issues i have faced there.
- It is a big College and if we want to go from one block to another we need to walk too many distance.
Remarks :
For getting the admission at Mar athanasius college of engineering we need to pass the keam wxam which is conducted by the state government of kerala. So, for getting admission for this government college you need to get a rank of around 10,000 in the keam exam. So that it will be easy for admission for any of the courses, and also based on the rank we can choose Ai course, Data science, computer science and many other Engineering courses. I took this college because it is a government college abd also it has good infrastructure and the ambience of the college. The teachers are also experienced teachers.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am a mechanical engineer, so we have the best faculty in the college for guidance and also for mentoring. The classes are on proper time from 9am to 4 pm. In between we will have our lab work and also the seminar presentation of the students. When comparing with the other Engineering courses offered in our college mechanical engineering department is the best and the teachers in this department helps the students individually for getting success in life my mentoring the students. We also have the best lab facility there the machines are well maintained and also we experienced staffs are there to guide us. The exams are carried by the kerala technical university so they will schedule the semester exams every 6 months. So the exams for lab and the paper are not delayed and the exams are on time.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done internship at Cochin shipyard thet i have applied personally because i like the ship building and the other works, so i selected shipyard. We can also go to any companies before applying we beed to get approval from the college to get the approval letter from the college to the companies.
Placement Experience :
There is a placement cell in our college they will work day and night for bringing new companies for us, they want to have 100 placement so they are working hard to have the companies. I also god placement at tata consultancy services, after graduation i got placement and i am currently working at tcs. They have less number of core companies for the mechanical and also for the civil engineering balance all it companies will approach.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tution fees per year is around 8000 and the exam fees for each semester is around 2500-3000rs. The tution fee will be the same and the exam fees changes by 500 per 2years . Then there are internet fees, pta fund, culture fund, many other fees from the college those all comes around 5000 per year. So totally we need to pay 12,000 to the college as the tution and other fees. We will concession for the students how are having good marks and also stifund for the students who are eligible they neednot pay the tution fees and also they will get a amount of 15,000 per year which they can use for their exam fees and other expenses fir the college hostel.
Campus Life :
We have many clubs NSS, ASME, IEEE,IEDC,etc, if i am telling all clubs here means it won't last that much club are there in our college. And the best are mentioned above where will get exposure and happiness while working. We have culture and the technical events at our college which are conducted every year. The technical event is 2 days and the cultural events are 3 days event. We also conduct the pre events before the date of the main events. We have departed library and also main central library, in department library we have all the department based book which are helpful for our studies and in central library all the types of books are there. And the new stocks will arrive every month so there will be old and new books for reference and everything. We have the mace sports club there we are training the students and also going for the state events and also university level sports meet.
Hostel Facilities :
I have stayed in the college hostel for around 4 years and i have experienced all the men's hostel in our college. The hostel for 2nd and third year students have the new building which have new bathroom and all the new type facilities are there. And for the final year students they will provide single room for focusing on studies which is very helpful. The distance of college tp hostel is around 500mtr so it is not a problem, if we forget any papers also we can go and get them easily. The mess at canteen is superb some of the foods i don't like because i don't like any vegetables so those who are eating they like the food very much and the timing for the mess is also nice thet we will get the food on time without any delay. Non vegetarian is alo provided at the mess.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
