I joined this college through uktech counselling organised by Uttarakhand Technical University dehradun on the basis of JEE mains rank and percentile. There were no group discussion and interview taken for admission
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course in the is Computer science engineering with specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning I had chosen this course according to my interest in artificial intelligence and is one of the best and top Branch of the college. Semester exams are held in December and july every year moderate level exam questions are asked in term exams
Internships Opportunities :
No I have not opted for internship till yet as I am still in second year but would be opting for internship soon as per my skills knowledge in the coding. I have no knowledge about the stipend offered to the students during internship as it depends on which company the are doing there internship.
Placement Experience :
On campus placement are offered to every students and most of the students are also selected in iiits and nits for masters through gate exam. A decent package is offered to the students and top recruiting companies like hcl tcs landt also arrive for placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The academic fees for per semester is 30000 rupees only and hostel and mess fees is 18000 rupees per semester only. The fees are same for all the years and all the branches. Scholarship is available for ews students and minorities with ews certificate and scholarship for class toppers.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is adventurous and chill because of the location of the college which is near Himalayas and you can see himalayan ranges all around the college campus. Every kind of books available in library. Sports fest named josh is organised after every one year gap. Student activity cell and different clubs of different branches is there in college like IEEE.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I have opted college hostel since day one hostel and mess fees which is rupees 18000 rupees only per semester is deposited first through online college site and the rooms are provided on reaching the college by the warden. Food quality and menu is eatable Indian food which is available three times breakfast lunch and dinner with snacks and coffee/tea in evening everyday.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
