My brother and I discussed during choosing the college, due to the centralized placement cell and he was also in Sinhgad College, the huge football grounds, the huge cricket ground, these factors made me to choose this college
The course curriculum was average. While it provided a basic understanding of core concepts, there is room for improvement in terms of advanced topics and industry alignment. The faculties were average in terms of qualification and teaching methods, while some instructors were knowledgeable, so overall the academic was satisfactory but not exceptional.
Unfortunately, the college does not have a structured internship program in place, students are encouraged to find internships independently or through external platforms, some of my friends got internships with the help of our faculty but the faculty used their contacts then
The placement opportunities at the college are average, with a decent number of companies visiting the campus, However, the placement rate varies depending on the student's performance, branch, and preparation, the eligibility criteria for placement is a minimum CGPA or Percentage above 6.6 CGPA or 65% is generally required, no active backlogs.
You have to pay the fees in 2 installments, if the fees are less then you have to pay the fees in a single installment, the fees for the general category are very much expensive, So the college fees is Rs 1,20,000 and hostel fees in Rs 60,000, so your minimum expense for 1 year is Rs 1,80,000.
The campus boasts an impressive and modern infrastructure, with a huge campus and well-designed buildings, the social life can feel a bit isolated due to the location, which is outside of the main city i.e. Lonavala. There are various department-specific clubs on campus, these clubs provide a platform for students to explore their interests and talents while fostering a sense of community. And the college has a very large ground that accommodates multiple sports like football, basketball, cricket, tennis and volleyball
Hostel rooms are spacious, clean, and well furnished, providing a comfortable stay, amenities including Wi-fi, Study tables, and wardobes are good. The hostel mess offers a variety of food options with decent quality meals, the hostel mess is average, and the hostel fee is Rs 60,000 per year including lodging and mess charge.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
