I choose this college because of its location, curriculum and faculty. The location is really at a good place it is very near from Metro around 500 m and the curriculum of this college is very good the additional courses are really nice and practical knowledge is morem.
The curriculum is very good we are learning all the things which we are already taught in the 11th and 12th class the basic and here we are learning it in a full fledge manner. The curriculum is easy and practical with the help of curriculum we have learnt a lot of things in our environment as the are course is life science so basically will learn about the basics of science around us surrounding and environment.
Yes I have opted for internship but I didn't got selected in that one of my friend is doing the internship basically they have to complete 100 hours in 6 month the internship and they will be pay 12000. And these type of internship comes on a regular basis in Shivaji College.
Replacement and job opportunities in the college have like we have a specific Society for this which is placement and entrepreneurship cell and this the society helpers to get placement and internship in the companies.
The fees for first year student for the course of bsc life science is Rs 23,000. It is quite expensive as compared to the other DU colleges, but Shivaji College gives you the infrastructure and the facilities they take the amount as a fee. You only have to pay one time fee and that includes everything, registration fee, admission fee, development fee and lab fee. The fees for everyone is same no changes for any category. Shivaji College also Offers Scholarship and summer training program as well.
The campus life is really good the crowd and Shivaji College is really nice and helpful and if you talk about the clubs of and Society of the college there are 30 + society in the college and all of the all of the society work on a different motive and and Shivaji College societies are considered as the one of the best college society in DU, and personally I have learnt a lot from the society's by working there.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
