I was selected for the college through the merit of an entrance exam named CUET and my prefrence sheet . There is no interview system there for the admission just an entrance and then the online counselling process by filling a form and giving the details and then making a preference sheet. The university considers the marks scored in the entrance , some weightage is given to the 12 board scores and the category you belong to considering all the things the suitable college is allocated.
The main reason was me being from commerce background in my plus two and my interest in commerce field. The teachers are well qualified and have a very good understanding of their subject as well as they are interactive and makes studies fun sometimes and sometimes hell with assignments anyways overall it's a good place with extra curricular activities also very active with the academic. Exams are held once in a semester with internals and frequent assignments, presentation and all. The difficulty level according to me is low if you study for two days before exam you can score pretty well.
Not yet am a first year student right now . I will be taking some internships definitely in the next year when I will be having good knowledge of my course and have explored my college life so that my experience in college can help me out there.
The eligibility is according to the job you opt there are opportunities for campus placement if you score pretty well CGPA . There is a placement cell in the college helping the students with the placements. Many of them got a good job in the big companies. Package depends on the course and job. That's good ofcourse depends on how skillful you are. I don't know the specific percentage but that's pretty good. I am planning to pursue a professional degree and then maybe law.
The year wise fees for B Com Hons is 35250 INR. There are no other fees if you are a day scholar. You just need to give an examination fee for each semester that is very minimal and reasonable. You can avail the scholarships by the state and the central governments.
The fest 'Manjari' is organised in the college most probably in the first of the year and dandiya night is also organised along with many seminars, conferences and talks with intellects etc. Almost all the subject books and other magzines are available in the library the library is fully air conditioned and the classrooms are also quiet good . In sports field the college is good as I am a part of NSO we have to do practice on every Saturdays we can play any sport of our choice after the warm up. We are told about the rules and all of the sport by the teachers present their. In extracurricular activities the college is very active be it dance, singing, debating, and many societies where you can be a part and experience the other side of college that is way more happening. There are many societies in the college of Dance Indian and western both, music societie, debating and many more.
No I am day scholar. But my some friends are in hostel Or pg . The hostels are well maintained and there are strict rules of entry and exit being a merit for the female student's family they find their daughters safe away from family. One needs to apply for getting in the college
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
