- I like the new infrastructure of my college, very new and is premium.
- Although getting internship is competitive, there is high probability of getting one if we do things right.
Dislikes
- Low budget fests. Although its a premium intuition.
- Very far from city, nearly 60 km. So no celebrity comes here for promotion.
Remarks :
I cleared JEE advanced and this was the best I got for my rank. Also i was somewhat aspiring of becoming a researcher in the fied of Material Science. To grt here, first clear JEE mains then JEE Advanced (under10k atleast).
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Material Science as this was the best branch I got in a top College. All faculties here at IIT Hyderabad are highly qualified. They graduated from IITs and completed their PhDs in their fields from top institutions. Also they are very experienced.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I got an internship at NTT-AT. Also because of colleges relation with Japanese, we have opportunity to get placed in Japanese companies. Getting internship is easy if we are good at our work, but competition is very high.
Placement Experience :
Placements are good here for a 2nd gen IIT. Also the internships are progressing. This year nearly 300 out of 450ish students got internship and nearly 150 dtudents got placements on day 2. Howrver packages can be higher and we hope it will improve in the coming years.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
100000/- in tuition fees 40000/- other fees including hostel and mess and other offered services. Students from different category can get some tuition fee waiver but have to pay for hostels and mess.
Campus Life :
The college life is very lively and exciting. We have various fest and all the clubs here keep doing something. We have elan and nvision, E-Summit, FCC events, EBSB festivals and many more! All classrooms and hostels are new here and are very comfortable. We have a sports complex, which is very new and premium.
Hostel Facilities :
It is compulsory for a student to stay in the campus hostels and eat in mess. Also these services are really good for the price we are paying. Along with them we get access to sports complex and any other activity. There is no specific need to apply for hostel as it is included in fees.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT
Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.
College life beyond classroom

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
A great place to meet like minded people

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.

My experience at NIAT
Placement Experience :
NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.
A Complete Review of JNTUH: Opportunities and Campus Life
Placement Experience :
Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
