Remarks :

I applied to three colleges only and got into this one first. So if wasn’t much of an option rather just what was convenient for me. I did plan on changing my college in second year but SPC grew on me and I decided to stay.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is good and the arts faculty is also good except the language departments. The English department is horrible and the hod is worse. The language department faculties are judgemental and tend to look down on students from other departments. The Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy department facilities are amazing. Very supportive and knowledgeable.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes I did work with Greenpeace India but that had nothing to do with the college tho after I was done with the internship I got credits for it. My department also gave me extra credits for it and were very supportive and understanding about my timings

Placement Experience :

There is no placement for art students tho there are many opportunities for related things, eg. psychology students have the option to write papers and get it internationally published. BBA &BCOM departments have placement programs though for third and fourth year students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

First year the tuition fees was 5000, 3000 in second year and 2000 in third year for me. I was on sports scholarship in second year and am on academic scholarship in third year. ?1000 fees for each sem end exams which in addition 6000 fees for exams throughout my degree.

Campus Life :

There isn’t much happening but a lot happening at the same time. There are a lot of activities but the marketing for it is awful so most of the times students are unaware about it. The bodyguards can be annoying, they complain about the girls clothing and and start shooing students as soon as they see a cpuple.

Hostel Facilities :

I haven’t but the hostel in college is awful so would rather suggest opting for hostels outside college as there are many right around/beside the college. Again with mess. Ther is one in college you can opt for with good food even if your not staying in the college hostel and ther are also many options right outside college

Placement Experience :

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
