I only took admission in this college as it close to my town deu to which it becomes easy for travel and I was selected through caprounds by JEE Main seat. The college is too strict for students and literally does not actually do thinks from student side.
My course currently I am in is Data science, I am not satisfied with the syllabus of the college for the course and the faculties are well qualified but few actually don't know how to teach and many faculties are leaving due to the strict management.
Not internship but a certification program just happened in December 24 where few companies where called to train students and hope further they would provide internship to the students and also college is not allowing students for to go outside for internship as the reason is not specified yet.
Honestly about the talking about the placements half of the students are not eligible because of the pointer criteria and then other students remaining are allowed to seat for placements and average salary is nearly 2.5 LPA.
Nearly it's 40000 for OBC vary on different years and scholarship if not applied it might increase. And for open category the fees is nearly 90000 yearly and also they can apply for scholarship. Fees are average as every college has this much.
Talking about campus, as true opinion I would say that campus is good but all the branches of St john from school to engineering, humanities, pharmacy have the same campus due to which there become so much rush during break and it feels not comfortable. And events happens few and not much exciting.
I am a Day scholar so don't know about the hostel but the mess is a average, not much good quality food and also there is only one common mess for all the branches so becomes to much rush and disatisfying.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old.
