I wanted to do the btech and i was also thinking of doing data science but later after giving a thought i chose this course as it has some scope in future and it is less crowded so then i ended up taking admission in this college as it is very near to my home.
The faculty is good tbh i mean they cover all the basic things in the class and if you want some extra notes of a specific subject they send all the notes and study material on whatsapp or outlook and they take these online programs for the students and we get some certificates as well. College is not bad at all.
No i haven't opted any internships yet cuz its my first year but there are some student who are doing internships but as far as i know they are not paid internships but they also have paid internships as well but i don't have any idea about that im sorry.
Im still at my first year but i heard abt my seniors abt the placements. Well the placements are good tbh cuz there are 50-60 students who got placements as far as i know. Companies like vipro and i don't remember the name of other it company but yeah these companies are good paying companies. I personally am going to persue my masters degree after my graduation.
I don't know anything about scolarship but the annual fees of my course is 77000 as i am pursuing bsc and i don't know about other course's fees but i think the fee is same for all the bsc courses and there is no extra tuition fees for anyone that's all i know about the fees system.
Tbh the campus is kinda small according to my opinion. The campus has the canteen and it also has a basketball court (my favorite thing abt that college) but they don't have enough space to play or to hangou with friends or play some other sports. And library is also nice. They have all the books you are looking for. I mean there were all thr books that i wanted so the experience might differ person to person. And also they conduct some programs events in October November and they are actually motivating and in January they condust the biggest event of college which is gusto. I mean its my first year so i don't know much about the event but the students say it is very big and fun event.
I don't live in hostel so sorry i don't have much information about that but the hostel is very safe for the girls cuz they have 3-4 guards who always pay attention to the students who live in the hostel and they also make the students sign on the register if they are going out. And the canteen of hostel is bad.tbh yes its not very nice but we can't debate about this topic cuz we know how the hostel cook the food and how bad it tastes.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
