My admission to the college was made directly without any exams etc. what made me choose this college was it had a nice campus. Some of my friends studied there and told me the professors are quite good too. The course offered specialization in cyber security with btech computer engineering. And I wanted to learn cyber security too.
I wanted to always pursue a career in cyber security. And what could be better that a btech computer engineering degree with cyber security as a specialization subject. The faculty is good I would say not the best. Yes some professors are pretty good at their work. Eachs semester we had 3 insem exams and 1 end semester exam. The difficulty level of the exams was moderate
I had not opted for any internship through college. As I had got an internship offer from outside. First I did an internship at the company named websoft oceans for 6 months and later at a company named virtual intern for 6 months again.

First there is a freshers party when the college begins. After that smalls fests and programs keep going on throughout the year. Whole there is one big fest in about October November sometimes which is the main fest of the college it goes on for a week with different programs and even different themes like traditional day, bollywood day, etc. VU students council is the club run by the students themselves but is overlooked by the faculty and taken care of by the faculty.
I had not opted for an hostel as I stay in bibwewadi kondhwa road marketyard pune itself and my house was pretty close to vishwakarma University college. Hence it was suitable for me to travel to and fro
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
