- Placement, internship opportunities are best among other private university in uttarakhand. Campus life is enjoyable, many fest, program are held and grafest held once in a year.
Dislikes
- Academic curriculum, because our college hours is too long and many times we stay idle. Improvment is needed that focus should be on quality study.
Remarks :
I have to do B.tech from private university and i found it best among other private university in uttarakhand. Talking about the admission process, it is straight forward, just visit the campus first and do the needful, criteria is 12th result, student will also get scholarship if percentage is above 85%
Course Curriculum Overview :
Facilities and academics are all good, but the curriculum needs to be improved further soo that student can concentrate more on learning because according to their curriculum college hours are more and due to this most of the time of us get waste by sitting idle in college.
Internships Opportunities :
As i am pursuing BTech and in 3rd year now and it is the only time when we get opportunity to apply in internship. So i am preparing for it and applying hand to hand. Many internships opportunities are provided from the last second year of your degree and provides stipend more than 80000. And faculty help a lot for all these, minor projects are given to us every semester, which help to learn a lot and in gaining experience.
Placement Experience :
Placements and internships opportunities are best among other colleges and universities in uttarakhand. Many companies visit every year for these opportunities and pick the bulk of students from our college only. Average package offered is of 600000-700000 and highest package is 4700000
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
On yearly basis, course that i am pursuing is BTech fee is 260000 and it get increased every year by 15000. Yes there is 10% off for girls candidate on yearly basis fee and 10% off for all the candidates if they submit fee yearly basis and 5% off if they submit fee semester basis. Fee for other courses are as follows, for B.com it is 50000, for B.A. 60000, for B.com 75000. And scholarship criteria is same for all the the courses.
Campus Life :
Social life, campus, infrastructure is all good. Yes there are so many clubs that surely help to grow and for interaction among students and teachers. Clubs and social life of our college really help ones in growing physically and socially.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes let's talk about hostel, yearly basis fee is 120000 average of all hostel. As our college has many hostels, some inside the campus and outside the campu. Talking about girl's hostel Marina hostel and Priyadarshini hostel are best in respect of mess food and facilities. And for boy's all hostels are best having same fee. But yes ac rooms are also available for that fee is high.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
