My rank in jee mains was 94297 which is quite low for genral ews category. At this rank I didn't have much options so I preferred brand name of ICT mumbai over any private college or state government college.
Professors are well qualified. We have professors that studied from iits / iisc and national university of Singapore. They are genrally supportive except some exceptions which are always there but nevertheless we can understimate their knowledge and experience. Semester system is followed in our college and semester is usually of 4 months approximately. Curriculum is well designed by ICT mumbai.
I am currently in first year so I am not into internship but I know many seniors not less than 25 who cracked foreign internship and I also know one senior who got internship at BARC. Focus on maintaining cgpa and rest will be done by ict mumbai tag.
Placement and internship is something not to worry about in this college if you have good cgpa . Some of the student got Internship at BARC and in foreign too. Foreign internship are common in our college. Highest Placement last year was 21 lpa by cpcl with 80% Placement.we also have tag of ICT MUMBAI which has well known reputation.
We have to pay ?182000 yearly including hostel and mess fee . Fees is approximately same for all 5 years. Student belonging to all category have same fees( no concession) . Fees are slightly on higher side in comparison to other GFTI. No, financial aid or scholarship is provided by college.
college don't have big infrastructure but all labs are available and well maintained. We don't have any auditorium for now. There is a central library with well diversified collection of book and journals . All the class rooms and library are air conditioned.Sports facility are genrally missing within the campus premises but students organize Many sports events timely in the nearby janata maidan.Clubs are genrally useless and hardly any club is active except AICHE and technological associations.
We have separate building for boys and girls but there are some common areas for boys and girls during day time like corridor and mess. Table tennis and washing machine is provided in hostel. Girls have to go back to girls building after 10:30 pm. We are not allowed to leave college premises after 10 pm and enter after 11 pm without proper authorization. Ragging is not observed within the hostel but definitely foods in the mess is not upto mark as case with all the mess.Rooms of hostel is spacious and are sufficient for 4 students in 1 room.
After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement
There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.
for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.
Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.
Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.
Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges
Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
