I had given JEE, so I got here on that basis , people can get admission through MHTCET or else there is even a college entrance exam . There is no cutoff, I think anybody can get admission here. Admission process was um, i had to fill few forms , they have a personalised email and ERP , so we get information there. This university has collaborated with Bhinghtam university so even foreign kids study here and they give us the opportunity to study abroad as well , but that's very rare. Overall this college currently is very below average , too expensive and they don't provide that much facilities and events fests clubs sports activities to us , like you'll feel you've given 3 lakh for nothing .
I wanted to do the btech cse in Pune , but I'm from Rajasthan and I did not give the state level exam for this , so this college was all that I could get in Pune. Faculties are mostly P.hd holders, mostly teaching is done during lectures and practicals, in lectures mostly they send us the ppt and explain it . and in practical, well we do it practically, But some teachers really do nothing to help us with that , they would just take us to the lab and get on phone and won't even come and check upon us , they don't care if we are able to do it or not , while some teachers really help with everything. Evaluation for semester is done by 2 projects , CIE , and Endsem exam and lab exams. Project 1 is followed by CIE(written test ) which is half syllabus of the sem , and then project 2 and than lab exams and than ESE.CIE, proj1 and proj2 consistes of 60 % and ESE makes the another 40% , passing criteria is different for each and 75% attendance is compulsory.
No , I or my friends have not attended and internship yet , but there are many opportunities for internship aswell , few gets selected in them . we get mails and some programs to participate in , we get certificates in that . Thats all
9 CGPA is the criteria in VU , average is 3-5 lakhs , highest is 10-12 lakhs , I'm still in first year , so placements and internships topic is still not so known to me , but as far I've heard , only 7-10 got placed in campus last year .
The current annual fees is 3 lakh 10 thousand rupees which increases every year by 5000. We are first needed to pay fees than after register the subjects which is free , there is no scholarship program in vu, fees is same for all , but according to fees , there is no facility available to us rn , no proper playing grouds, no good clubs , authority do not provide us money for fest , very very few event and even less fest and cultural activities which are not even good , it's situated in Kondhwa area which is a very bad ,i mean , it's not a developed area, no good transport facilities , they don't allow girls after 6:30 because it's not safe , hostels and flats are available near campus , faculties are below average , Infrastructure is still under construction, but they provide placement with vit, pune . So placements are nice . and there is additional fees for exam registration, so overall, it's very expensive and is very unworthy of all the expenses.
Arambh is the only fest we got in sem 1, no freshers party , nothing , no sports. It occured in August and that event for not even average . Fairly good. Library is provided , we can get books from there.I.would say Classrooms are like school classroom for better understanding , bench, tables, board, projector , teachers desk and chair ( windows curtains are broken)…There's a basketball court ,and a game room I think so, a under-construction ground, there's a cultural club , sports club and few more . Theres not much .
Message is really good , hygiene is great in girls hostel , boys hostels message condition is bad , insects are often found in food , In girls hostel , safety is really ensured, environment here is safe , clean and healthy . Buildings infrastructure of hostels are really great , provided amenities like washing machine , fridge , induction , good door lock security system., fingerprint scan security system , guards and overall it's good in girls hostel . In my hostel , it costs me 80,000 in a 4- sharing room , and mess cost is separate , 3600 monthly mess is available separately but it's inside the hostel itself ,My hostel is studios girls hostel , opp. vu , hagawane nagar , Kondhwa , budruk, pune.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
