Honest review of rizvi college of engineering
Likes
- The campus of college is having a great infrastructure with all facilities and management. The college has 2 lift for each department and it's having 4-5 department so overall 10-12 lifts for students and staff. Faculties are great enough but some are not that good.
- The college has a free wifi with 5g connectivity in each classroom of college . The college also offers full ac rooms for students including labs and av rooms.
Dislikes
- Something I dislike about my college is that some faculties are not that supportive.
- Exams are sometimes tough and sometimes teachers check tough paper which causes less marks to score. So one has to study hard for good marks.
Remarks :
No, I didn't faced any interview or test just I got admitted here by giving 12th board exam one can also get admission here by diploma or bsc etc. the cutoff here for computer engineering is 85-88% in 12th cet where as for diploma it's around 83-86%.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is enough for a student to prepare well for exams except the exams are pretty tough for new students who come from 11 12th background. I choose this program because I was interested in ai and ds field which gives more knowledge about robotics and iot development. And machine learning and data science.
Internships Opportunities :
The college is free to provide internship opportunities . You just have to give an application for that and you can do both online and offline internship there . Either from college or from outside. This also helps in maintaining attendance of students.
Placement Experience :
The placement of rizvi college of engineering are famous for civil department and computer department as many placement comes across the college, the placement drive starts from 3 lpa to 12 lpa. With respect to the student skills and experience.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college is well maintained and have several different departments and their respective staff members with highly qualified degrees. The several different departments of college have different fees structure our department has a few structure of 100k per year with a minority scholarship of 40-50%. One can get extra scholarship for fees from other trust too. Sc st obc have high wavee off scholarship with around 80-90% fees discounted. At last teacher are very supportive and good environment is created by students.
Campus Life :
The campus life of college is too great and awesome as every third day there is an event in college with extra curricular activities. The college life is awesome with great social life. There are very great places near by college to visit like gaming hubs and lounge. Sea shore of carter road and nearby food shops and snacks stalls.
Hostel Facilities :
Yeah there are nearby hostel and pgs from waking distance of college , my many friends come from there . The cost for pgs and hostel are also affordable and enough for a student to pay and rent there for his or her college life. The expenses of hostel are not expensive.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Average college provide average facilities

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
