Dislikes
- Infrastructure is all good and there are many constructions currently going on for new buildings.
- Our college has a big playground but I haven't been there so I actually don't know if that's a really bad thing
Remarks :
I had a good enough rank to get CS related branch in NMAMIT. I had to just submit my entrance exam score card and they just admitted me, the process was very simple. See everyone has different views of the college, something that I might feel bad might feel good for others. But still from my point of view. You have to focus on your studies once you join the college and don't give nonsense excuses. As per experience the once who prepare well after entering college will get good salary jobs here, but wait I'm not telling everyone the once who are lucky also.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had no other option so I had to choose this course. All the faculties have done MTech and a few have also completed their Ph.D. All the faculty are good, with few just for money faculties. See we had 3 semesters in a single year so as the college wishes they will extend the academies and prepond or postpone the exams. So nothing is sure about the exams
Internships Opportunities :
I have done a free internship from NITK as my college allowed me to do in NITK. I was working as a networking intern at NITK and I gained very nice knowledge based on what real networking is, I had done Multi-auth project at internship
Placement Experience :
NMAMIT Udupi has a decent placement record, with a significant percentage of students getting placed in reputed companies each year. Eligibility Criteria: - Students must maintain a minimum CGPA (usually around 6.0 or above). - Good academic performance is crucial. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills are highly valued by recruiters. Recruiters: - Top recruiters that visit the campus include companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, and many more. - The number of offers varies each year depending on market conditions and student performance. Salary Packages: - The highest package offered can vary significantly depending on the year and the specific roles. - The average package typically ranges from 4-8 LPA, with higher packages offered for specialized roles in areas like data science and artificial intelligence. Percentage of Placements: - A significant percentage of students, often exceeding 80%, secure placements through campus drives.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees paid by me was 4 lakhs as I'm a KCET student, and COMEDK students used to pay 1.7 Lakhs per year and management students used to spend 3 lakhs per year. Since the NUCAT system as started as our college has become an autonomous university all the NUCAT students have to pay approx 2.1 Lakhs per sem. But with a better rank in the NUCAT exam, you guys can get good scholarships also. Since my dads income is 15+ I didn't get any scholarships so I have no insights on this.
Campus Life :

Hostel Facilities :
Mess: The hostel mess serves three meals daily. Overall, the food is decent and caters to various tastes, though some students feel that the menu could use a bit more variety. Infrastructure: The hostels provide basic amenities such as comfortable rooms, clean bathrooms, and common spaces for students. Additionally, some hostels have recreational facilities, including table tennis and indoor games. Application Process: Hostel applications generally open a few weeks before the academic year starts. Most students apply online through the college’s portal. Food Quality & Menu: While the food is typically satisfactory, many students wish for more regional and home-style dishes to be included in the menu. Registration Process: The registration process is usually quite simple and can be completed online. Students are required to submit the necessary documents and pay the applicable hostel fees.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary
