- I love the location. Puri have lord jagannatha and a beautiful sea beach known as Golden beach. What else a student need in his graduation time.
- Infrastructure is not so good,it should b improved. New buildings are in making process. Hope for the best.
Dislikes
- Teachers have a narrow mentality and restricted rules on the students. That should b not ruled out.
- Gym and cafeteria should b there for the students so that they can get the things with their ease.
Remarks :
I always want to be a doctor so I choose BAMS because I couldn't got a seat for mbbs . BAMS is our own system of medicine. The central govt is promoting ayurveda, these are the things triggered me to choose BAMS. But it is very unfortunate that the state govt of odisha is not promoting BAMS which is very pathetic.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are okay okay type , not too good not too bad. They are just here to do their job . Very rare of them are interested to educate the students. Teacher student relationship is not that good. Students respect the teachers so that they won't fail the students in exam. There are two to three teachers I like because they are interested to educate the students rather than doing official works There are two exam conducted one by college (test exam ) and other is conducted by university (terminal exam) Exams are easy to pass.
Internships Opportunities :
As it is a medical college so the govt offers internship to the students. Except that no private companies don't provide internship facilities. During internship program you have to work in the hospital as jr doctor under the guidance of senior doctors.
Placement Experience :
As it is a govt college so it provides intership facilities after completion of BAMS. Internship is for one year. Six month is in ayurvedic hospital and other six month is in the allopathic hospital. Stipend is 17000/- per month provided by state govt.

Year wise total fees varies from 11000/- to 14,000/- from 1st year to final year. As it is a professional college so there is all kind of facilities available for extra curricular activities Basically in the month of December annual event and function are held. But through out the year functions and seminars are organised.

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
