- The campus is really huge and beautiful and is situated in Himalayan mountains. It is cold throughtout year with a bit of snowfall in alternate years.
- The faculty of this college is very well mannered and helpful and thus it is fun to learn new things
Dislikes
- As the college is in remote areas not very much shops are available near the campus and hence we have to travel a distance to get anything
- There is no laundary service in the college due to which we have to wash out own clothes which consume alot of time and hardwork
Remarks :
When I got the results of my second attempt at Jee I scored 85 percentile and as I live in Uttarakhand this college became my ultimate choice. It is considered to have the best engineering facilities over any government college. I enrolled in the Uttrakhand technical University counseling process and got electronics and communication engineering in the second spot rounds which suggests that the college has a high cutoff. The college is located near Pauri which in itself is a really beautiful place with a lot of mountains and scenery. It is a good place and has a lot of open space with less urbanization. Overall it is a very good college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The overall btech course Is very well planned and designed. The course curriculum is nice and adequate for the students after JEE. In the first year, the students are taught about every branch throughout the year. The faculty of this college is well experienced as well as highly educated. They encourage students to have their thinking and opinions on things. The college holds two internal class tests each consisting of 15 marks and an external exam of 100 marks with a total of 150 marks per subject. The tests are hard so students have to work hard for tests and don't get free marks.
Internships Opportunities :
As I m still in my first year I haven't opted for any internship till now but in the second semester we have to opt for internship as it is compulsory. It will provide us with experience to work in real world . There are alot of paid internship and from the second year We can have paying intership.
Placement Experience :
The placement are good enough compared to any other government college in uttrakhand. The highest placements are from electronic and communication branch but mechanical and electrical branch also get enough placement each year .the criteria for placement is that the student should not have any subject back in the present year . Interships are also available from the first year . There is a compulsion to attend a intership in first year even if paid . Ans after than you can have intership which suits you better .
Campus Life :
The campus is huge and situated at the top of the mountain and thud providing a very beautiful scenery of Himalayan mountains covered in snow. The climate is cold throughout the year and hence very suitable for summers. The college life is fun. Most of the students are hostelers and hence we have a lot of time to spend with each other. the hostel facilities are good enough with a spacious room and water and electricity available 24×7. the hostel fee is 18000 with mess charges included and we can decide and change the mess menu according to our will.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
