- The college infrastructure is very beautiful. And the faculty are very encouraging.the college life is somewhat incline more towards studies.
- The garden of our college is very beautiful and we have very beautiful plants all over the garden.
Dislikes
- The pg rent are very high goes upto 40 thousand per month in satya nikaten with all facilities.
- The placement for science department is very low .
Remarks :
This college is very good in science field. The admission process is through cuet examination. Then you have to register for delhi university. The cutt off is 65% and you should prepare this examination by studying class 11 and 12 thorrolly.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I have to give GATE examination it provides us courses for msc and research project. I chose this college also because I wanted the tag of du .which is very famous all over the country. You should give the cuet examination.
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted for one research project with the professor.and one paid internship in 3rd semester.you can get upto 5-15thousand stipend per month one certificate after the internship is completed. The project in which I was doing of research in genetics.
Placement Experience :
The placement for bcom subject is very high among all subjects it goes upto 15lpa and science course placement is 25% . Not all the students gets placed after the graduation but you can give other competitive exams for msc .du provides us many platforms.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual fees for maitreyi College for course life sciences is 140000 and 500 registration fees .the fees for subject may varies as per the practical subjects.the scholarships are also provided. The bcom feel is a little bit higher upto 17000 per year . And examination fee is 3200.
Campus Life :
In the month of feb . Rhapsody takes place which is the yearly fest . The library is full of books and magazines. there are societies for every cocurricular activities. You can take participate in dance music acting and many more .there are many clubs for enhancing the extra activities.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel. But I know much about it .the annual Hostel fee is 90k per year . The food is provided 4 times a day . The nearby locations for pg and Hostel is satya niketan, chanakyapuri. You can get pg for 10 k per month and 1 bhk around for 15 thousand.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
