There was just a Guru Gobind singh Indraprastha University Central University test after which if ur rank is good enough you can get this college easily but this college isn't always the first choice of a student
The curriculum is very irregular. Syllabus changes almost every year . Some Faculties are very polite and friendly but mostly the teachers are somehow rude and might hold grudges onto you. The rest of the teachers are very polite and supportive
For the first 3 years no intership is provided but many small projects or tasks are given which are usually of no use and just to create a interactive environment. No big company has yet come of which you can remember the name of.
Usually I have seen people roaming around unemployed and only 10-12 people out of a batch of 60 have received college placement. The average package is just 3 lpa and not big reputed company has yet came. Although many well to do companies do come.
The fees is 13500 per semester so it make 267000 per year. There are multiple scholarship based on test or knowledge etc. also there are scholarships for different categories like SC, ST etc which can be availed after admission.
The campus infrastructure is mid. The canteen sucks and there's only one playground which gets easily crowded. Ther children have zero social skills and have formed groupism and there is no unity. U might get bored easily
I haven't applied for a hostel but I have a friend there. As per him the mess is very unacceptable. The menu is very limited and food is just ok and usually the kids eat from outside. The rooms aren't also very good.

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
