I’ve been a Josephite since my PU days and I wanted to work hard and complete the other half of my educational journey being a proud Josephite. I was sturn and dedicated to pursue my UG in SJU and I took the risk of not applying elsewhere as a backup plan as I aimed at one college and it was only St Joseph’s University. I got into this college and fulfilled my adventure of achieving my UG in here. I didn’t have any exams as such but did have an interview during my application. I was being myself, and completed the interview with truth and honesty.
I chose BCOM industry integrated as it seem quite unique and professional, comparatively speaking. While I prefer to not comment on my professors qualifications, I found their training or teaching methods highly effective where it had understand, concepts better and improvise myself on a daily basis. Overall I can express with the rate of eight point 9 out of 10. The testing exams was spaced out well, but I do not accurately. Remember or recall the duration of period in between them. While some exams were challenging, they pushed us to work harder and prepared us to handle tougher questions or uncertainties that may arise in the future. But I would say that those challenges were valuable learning experiences.
I believe for the commerce industry or part of our college during our degree completion years. One among the semesters we will be informed to have an internship program performed as a part of our degree course completion. The opportunities is something we will have to research about so we are not provided with the source of places where there are internships available, so it is our homework and we have a designated professor who we will have to Keep in loop during this entire period and at the end of the internship program, we will be given a viva and based on that the success of this program will be decided. The internship programme can be of your preference, but validated, cause or reason for choosing it is something which should be explained to the professor and the acceptance of moving forward is only then provided.
The criteria is that the respective student must not have a backlog, and the placements are quite decent. Not that great. There was jp morgan, tata consultancy services, ditto insurance, pension box and related companies who came for placements and the packages that very somewhere around 4lpa somewhere around 7 or 8lpa, depending on the department, you are planning to work as well. I’m not very sure on the percentage of students who got the placements and unfortunately I wasn’t able to be a part of the placement factor as I was ill at that moment and I missed on it, but I am currently working in one of the companies which came as a placement and my package is around a decent 4 lpa
The fees were 65850 for the first 2 years and 66700 for the third year. It wasn’t easy to pay the amount due to financial constraints but the admin and office members helped me out in understanding some scholarships and gave me hopes of giving them a try. The management scholarship and the HDFC scholarship helped me in paying a part of my fees during my 2nd and 3rd year degree.
The social life of this college was quite adventurous. It helped me in building myself and understanding how to face challenges in life in various parts. The fests, curricular activities were quite interesting with quite opportunities where a person can express themselves to see if thats their cup of tea. The sports activities were also quite encouraging, but overall, considering it, I felt a bit of lenience were provided to those who were a part of clubs, so the lenience were quite given to some people who are quite professional with that activity and quite less for those who did not have a qualification, being a quality of person in that respective field. But considering the access to this sport areas, the digital library, was something I personally loved. The clubs which are run by the professors, but the authorisation and access is mainly also given to students for them to prove their competency and the dedication of their promised words
I have personally never stayed in a hostel, so I am pretty much, not sure on how exactly that would work but I heard it was a bit decent also, the fee of the hostel is mentioned on a rough figure below.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
