Remarks :
For taking Admission for btech in computer science engineering you will have to give JEE Mains examination and have to secure above 90 % to pursue cs course.For other branches you can get direct admission but you should have a decent percentage in class 12th as well as in your PCM subjects also.
Course Curriculum Overview :
From childhood I want to become a software engineer but after coming to class 12th I came to know about this college that this is one of the best college in uttrakhand for doing btech and have good placement records and after that I came to know that we have to qualify the jee mains and then I worked hard to get into this college. Talking about Faculty, They are well knowledged and experienced professors because for teaching into this college you have to give some tests and have to pass some graduation criteria and than you have a certificate to teach into this college so faculty is 5 star rated in my opinion. In one semester you have to give two sessional examination of 20 marks monthly and then you have to give final 70 marks semester exam for passing that semester and there are a total of 8 semesters.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't opted for internship till now because I am currently working on my skills and enhancing my coding knowledge after that I will apply for internships and I hope you will also learn some skills for joining internship schemes
Placement Experience :
Many companies visit our college for placement drives and select many students but you should have acquired some skills along with a good cgpa in your btech course year. Internships are also offered for 2,3and 4th year including paid as well as unpaid internships.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Hello everyone!! Myself Piyush Dangwal.I am currently pursuing btech in computer science engineering from Gurukul kangri Faculty of engineering and technology. whole couse fees for btech in this college is upto 5lakh 50 thousand where I have paid around 120000 for my first year.The fact that this course fees is same from past 5 years but in future we can't tell that it will remain the same or will exceed from the normal charges. This college also provides approval to different scholarships for students belonging tho sc st caste, obc and for ews students, the process for approval of scholarship is quite tough but after that it will be 100% gureented that you will get selected for scholarship. That's all , I will give this college a excellent review because it is very good college for pursuing btech in any branch and for students who are looking forward for taking admission to this college than they are mostly welcome. Campus Life :
Campus is so nice and clean which is covered by trees and many greenery. Our college conduct fresher party and a fest called Jyanagni every year in month of end january which will last for about 4 days. Our college have many grounds like cricket ground, football ground, hockey ground,athletic ground,yoga hall, volleyball court, basketball court and table tennis hall and indoor games include carrom and chess. There are many clubs which our college hosts every 2 months which are very informative and useful for us.
Hostel Facilities :
No i don't live in hostel so I don't know much about hostel in this college because I daily go to college and come back home because college is quite near to my home so I haven't opted for college hostel.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
