Remarks :
No, there were no group discussions and personal interview stuff like that. The selection was purely on the basis of JEE Mains Rank. I personally chose this college over other as it has affordable fees and it's near to my home.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum specifically for Electronics and Communication Engineering has been designed to provide practical knowledge and to gain hand on experience in the real world. Also, the faculty here is very supportive and helpful throughout and they personally guide each student.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees of the course is 1,55,000. Which includes a one time fees of approximately 45,000 and 96,000 is the IPU counselling fees which is included in it. I am not sure of the category fees system of the college.
Campus Life :
The college life is pretty decent as it is a small campus. But anyone will create tons of memories in the campus. As far as locality is concerned its tye best u can get in Delhi, there are malls, gym, spas, major food hub as it's located in the heart of West Delhi.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
