There are many factors due to which I decided to choose this college. One of them is the location, the college is located exactly in the centre of the city due and has a metro station right infront of the college gate which makes the transportation convenient for all. Another major reason is being in the center the college area is completely safe and secured. Another major reason is the technical coding culture of the college, the technical events or the hackathons held cover each and every domain student due to which the college becomes on of the fav one for those who are tech enthusiast. There were no written tests for the admission, the college excepts admissions only through JEE and MHTCET and the process is quite transparent due to which it becomes easy. These were some of the reasons due to which I personally advice u all to get admitted into IOIT.
The teaching and non-teaching faculty both here are very much friendly and reach out for help whenever we need whether it be related to academics or any other reasons. The course here is designed by the college itself due to which it is mostly related to the industry. The teaching staffs here is very well qualified and has a deep knowledge in their subjects. The teaching methods used here are practical, they do include real life examples problems and their soluiton using the concepts taught. The difficulty level if the exam here is moderate to difficult which I prefer is best suitable for an engineering student. The questions asked in the examination make us think for the answer and the evaluation of the same is done on the merit of the answers. Besides only theory exams the college also give opportunity to conducts live presentations, projects and extra curricular activities. The faculty here helps and guides the student in each and evert aspects of the course and other things.
Well being a 1st yr student, right now I've not opted fkr any internship opportunities but I'm looking for the same and I'm pretty sure that my college faculty will definitely help me in this. Yes our college makes avail the facilities of internship, infact they also conduct the session in which they give a brief info on how to make ur linkedin profiles impressive. Our college as got a very good coding culture which helps each and every student to build and grow technically and professionally.
Well placement is the most important thing in each and every college which is to be checked while getting admitted into the same. The IOIT has got around 85 to 90% placement ratio and that also in good companies. The training and placement cell here always try to to do their best for the student. And most important thing is the college organises some aptitude sessions, presentations which are important for placement point of views. Besides this there are many online sessions held regarding placements in particular domains, skill developments and many more things. The average package here is around 8 lakh per anum. Personally my plans after getting degree are like I've exactly decided yet that whether to get a job from campus placement or whether to go for higher studies. Right now I'm not exactly clear about that, but I suggest even me also that we all should definitely sit for the campus placements whether u get placed or not but they make u ready for further challenges.
Being an open category student personally the fee structure for my college is very affordable. I pay 130000 as my course fee per year. Out of which around 104000 is the tuition fees, 5000 is the examination fee. I couldn't avail any scholarship facility as I'm an open category student. But the fee structure is very much manageable for me and my family. My batchmates do pay the same fee except the one who belong to other reservation. The scholarship facilities for the reservation student here is up to the mark. A real needy student can avail the facility of scholarship and enroll in the course easily.
The most important thing which makes the campus life best is the location of the college and the aeroplane kept in out college. Actually we have an aeroplane in our college and there's a space behind that where we all of pur batchmates can release our stress we usually call that place as a 'Katta'. We also have an OAT (Open Air Theater) near the IOIT canteen in our college where all the unrealistic ideas of ours turn into reality. The another most important thing is the tea made in our college canteen, don't know why but they do something very special which pulls out the stress and gives us something what we call as 'sukh'. The fests and events held here are something really out of the box they are damn amazing. The cultural events here are something which can't be described in words. Besides this IOIT has got a very good sporting culture each and every sport played here is well supported by the college. Besides this the college library is very much updated with new books.
Well, I live in Pune itself so I haven't opted for hostel. But some of my friends are the ones who live in the college hostel. And according to their experience, the hostel of our college is very safe the gate timings for boys is 10 whereas that for girls is around 10:30 or 11pm. The quality of food provided by the hostel mess is very good it is hygienic, healthy and safe to eat. The rooms here can fit total of 4 students, they provide A class amenities in a low cost for the students who come from outside. The registration process for the hostel was to be done while taking the admission itself. So there was no such extra process for taking admission into the hostels. The most important thing is that the hostels are located near the PMC metro station which has two major benefits. One is the loaction is a busy one which ensures the safety of students, and second thing is the metro station is walking distance from the hostel rooms which makes transportation easy.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old.
