It is a great university to go to if you want to have a tag of government University in any studies. So that's why I went there the application process is decent you have to appear for jac delhi counselling.
Course right now is all over the place due to new education policy as the are teaching first year students subjects like material science which is meant for second year students. You can expect to get all the important notifications or updates at a moments notice so look out for that. The faculty here is really good they are friendly and helpful
There are companies like maruti that come here for placement there are also financial support for any business of entrepreneurship idea. This ammount would vary depending upon the idea. There are multiple rounds of interview and salary increases with each round. The faculty here helps in this process
So each semester fees is around 95000 to 100000 rupees and more amount is charged while filling the application form for end sem exams this fees is generally around 1000 to 1200 rupees and you have to pay 700 rupees for re examination. The scholarship process is decent at best as a few of my peers got the scholarship easily while other have to constantly go to the office
There are only official events organised by the faculty and rest of the events like freshers are organised by students. And events like workshops are jointly organised by students and teachers. So you are responsible for your own fun

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
