Remarks :
You can be admitted to this college if your rank is 1 lakh for the general caste, and if you have a low Ranking in JAC (this college takes students through JAC counseling). I am a lateral entry student in this college and just another university like IPU, or DTU I don't have to take the test to be admitted to this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The teachers are very friendly and good, they help us all the way. The grade system in this college is also different as compared to other colleges. In this college, there are 3 engineering streams Computer Science Engineering, Electrical engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
Internships Opportunities :
There is no internship opportunity in this college you have to find an internship on your own. Starting of 3-year college will give you time to do an internship ( 2 or 3 months ). If you have skills you can do it.
Placement Experience :
There is 100% placement as we hear from our seniors and for the Internship we have to find it on our own, college will give us leave for the Internship, and for placement, so many mash recruiters companies come to your college.
Campus Life :
The campus of this college is not big but they have started reconstruction of the campus according to the news it will be reconstructed till 2026. In this college, there are so many societies and students also we'll behave so the social life is good.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
