- The Air-conditioned classrooms are the best thing
- The canteen lawn and the college playground are also very good
- The new basketball court is very awesome and cool

- The thing i dislike is the regular classes for 3-4 hours sometimes.
- The checking of Id Cards daily at the entry gate is annoyin g for me.
Remarks :
The admission taking process is through an entrance exam called CUET conducted by NTA. The selection is cut off based. You need a score of 650-750/800 in the CUET exam to take admission in this college. You need to fill preference list of colleges and courses you like to pursue in them and submit them on the official website of Delhi University. All the notices and links are updated there. Then colleges are offered based on your CUET score. The admission is fully online. The college is top rated for Department of Geography and is the best college for pursuing Geography hons. in Delhi University. Other courses are also taught magnificiently. There are many societies and groups. The college is best for developing ones intellectual, abilities, socializing and show thier talents on a broader aspect.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Geography hons. in the college and fully content with my choice. The college offers great facilities and infrastructure. The faculty is highly reputated and is keen in developing students. The teaching staff mostly have a doctrate. They are highly qualified. They help students in every possible ways in exception to their subject and course. They provide free counselling related to competitive exams and give proper guidance to the students. The professors are very kind and polite and their teaching style is very influential. The exams are held semester wise and are held once in December-January and once in May. Internal exams are also held in between the semesters. The exam level is not so hard.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not taken part or accepted any internship programs but there are many available internshipsoffers and anyone who is interested can take part in the internship programmes according toh their will.
Placement Experience :
There is enormous scope in employment provided. There are regular internship offers for the students. There are many celebrities from KMC. A huge no of bureaucrats and civil servers have been graduated from KMC. The college provides a good platform to all to rise.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
One year fees for normal stodent is about 16-17000. All other charges like tuition fee, admission fee, lab charges are covered in it. The fee is less for SCs and STs and for Pwd students it is just 150-200 rupees. There are charges on filling examination forms. They range from 800-1200 according to the subjects chosen. There is concession in this for obc, sc, and st category. Its free for Pwd students. There are many scholarship related exams held which provide aid to many students.
Campus Life :
The campus life is awesome. There are many activities held on regularly in the campus. There are Freshers events held every year for the new-comers and is organized by the seniors. Every department provides fresher to their freshiees. There is also an official Freshers event organized by the College for Freshers of all departments. Freshers are organized in October -November. Many other fest are held in the month of February. Every year Diwali mela is held in the College. There is NS Pradhan Memorial Library in the college. It has 3 reading halls and a library to issue books to the students. All types of books are available there. There are many sport events held in the college. Volleyball, Football, Cricket, Badminton, Kho-Kho, Kabbadi, Basketball tournaments are some of the attractions. Chess competition is another hotspot. The tournaments are open to all students of the college.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
