- As a student at Jamshedpur Women's University, I've been incredibly impressed by the infrastructure. Dislikes
- I found the coding courses which is there in our syllabus are not given much importance by the current faculty. So here faculties must increase for teaching since right now it is managed by only two teachers,and that's why there is much load on them due to important coding language course such java,c++ are not given much importance,which actually plays a crucial role during our placement.
- I also disliked the behaviour of staff members who are actually been kept to help the students while if someone faces any issue during exam form filling , registration process etc., but I found them very rude and they are not helpful at all. The management must take some steps to tackle this so that students should not feel in such way. Campus life of students is also not much there ,I think more events, fest and competitions should be organized....
Remarks :
The admission in our department was solely merit based that is how much percentage you scored in your class 12th. Admission process didn't required any written test. I chose this college since it was near to my home and it is the best government college in jamshedpur.fee structure is also quite affordable here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My decision to take admission to Jamshedpur remains college was basically because of covid 19, 2020. I wanted to take admission in other cities and other colleges but because of COVID 19 I have to take admission in my hometown so I have taken admission there. And that's somewhere I have heard that Jamshedpur remains college is good but when I have stepped into the college I have felt the reality I've got the reality check. The curriculum in this college was not sufficient for the top competition around the country. II have heard before the COVID 19 the courses provided in the women's college were much better than today. There was lack of faculties for every course in the college in my course in the first year I was only having one faculty for my own hounours. There is generic elective subjects are also provided with the course the generic elective subject we can choose. The first improvement I will suggest for this call is to increase the number of faculties for every courses.
Internships Opportunities :
Multitech company provided internship for all the students in our batch but it was not a paid internship...but we students have actually paid them 4500 to join this internship programme ...and after the internship ,we made a project , which was the basis of viva questions asked in our lab exams.
Placement Experience :
There were no as such eligibility criteria for placements. All the students were actually eligible for the placement. Top companies that visited our campus were infosys and wipro. 40-50 % students were placed from our batch. After getting the degree I have not taken job,instead I have chosen to do Masters instead.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for the Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) program at Jamshedpur Women's College is ?1,15,000 for the entire three-year course for general and obc. While st/sc students had to pay 62,400 and they are given scholarships as well. The BCA program at Jamshedpur Women's College is a full-time undergraduate course. The course is offered by Kolhan University.

Hostel Facilities :
The college have two hostel in the college campus.C.V. Raman hostel and Mahadevi Verma hostel.The hostel roons are on sharing basis.The rooms are on sharing basis.There are 3 bed rooms and 6 bed rooms available in the hostel. The hostel fees are very affordable. It is around 2000 per month which includes the mess charge as well. Phones and any electronics are not allowed in the hostel. No outings. Rules and regulations are terrible. The food quality of the canteen was a good experience since it was very much affordable..

The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
