- I like the college infrastructure ,food court ,library the lawn and the smart classrooms.
- I also like the some of the fuculties present here.
Dislikes
- I dont like the sports facility because i love to play cricket but there is no proper cricket ground in the campus. And events and fest organising is very poor.
- The main problem is from few years so many students are taking admission and the placement percentage is very low and the average package is not very good.
Remarks :
College infrastructure is good. There are many good and friendly faculties are present in the college who will help you in yor study and other problems and some non experienced bad faculties are also there. Study experience is 7/10. College doesn’t organise so many events in the campus and there is no proper ground for sports in ITER campus.The placement percentage is average (50-65%) and the average package is 5 lakh. Every year the college conduct SAAT exam and you have to give this exam to get admission in the college and the exam type is simple. They will provide you branch according your SAAT exam result, you can give this exam in your home and the exam is based upon class 11th and 12 th Science. You can also take admission through you JEE exam result. Otherwise they will charge you extra money for admission. In Bhubaneswar locality the college is known as a good and reputed college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have interested in Computer study so i take idmission in BTech Csit branch. Majority Faculties are good but some non experienced faculties are also there overally faculty rating is average 7/10. Mojarity of the faculties are well educated they all have their master degree in their field. Total 8 semesters anre conducted in 4 year. Per year 2 semester and one semester is combination of 1 mid sem and 1 end sem.the gap between midsem and end sem is 20-30 days and the gap between 2 semester is 4-5 months.The exam levels are moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven’t opted any kind of internship because i am in 1 st year now but i will. Companies like Microsoft,Amazon,infosys, wipro,Cognizant,Accenture,Deloitte are come to campus for internship and they hiring students with good package by checking their skills and provide them a decent stipend average 15k per month.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities for ITER students is good. Many reputed and big companies like Amazon,Microsoft, Wipro, Infosys,Tcs and many other companies are come here to hiring students for every year. The highest salary package offered at the ITER SOA is 52 lakhs offered by Microsoft. The average salary package is 6 lakhs. Every year nearly 60% students get placement. The eligibility criteria for placement is, complete 4 year BTech course , maintain good CGPA and SGPA , develope your skill, learn new works about computer and learn programming. After completing the course i will try harder to get placement with a good package. If i willnot get placement in the campus i will make my profile on linkedin and will try for getting job in off campus and will give interview in different companies to give placement. If nothing will go in my favour then i will start my start up and will do business.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total cost for for four year BTech (Computer Science) programme is 11 Lakh rupees(This is only for study fees). Counselling fees is 1000 and at the time of admission you have to pay 85k rupees then they will take the rest of money per semester wise. You have to pay 1.25 lakh per semester and there are 8 semester in 4 study year. You can also pay the money through EMI. College also provide loan for interested students. The fees for all category is same. College provides Scholarship for students , they will give the scholarship money according your class 10th and 12 th board result. The scholarship amount is 35k,25k and 15k for students who secured above 90%,80% and 70% respectively in both class 10 and 12 exams. Transport-College bus is available for transport and the transport fees is 18k per for inside the Bhubaneswar city and 30k for outside the city.
Campus Life :
Campus infrastructure is good. College buildings are good and they provide smart class room, auditorium, practical lab, sports complex, lawn etc. where students can spend there time.There is a gym available for students in affordable price. And a cafeteria is available in the campus and the food quality is good.The sports facility is good and there is a sports complex for indoor games like badminton, box soccer, table tennis etc and a new ground for football and a basketball court available in the campus.but there is no proper ground for outdoor games like cricket in ITER Soa campus. There is a central library available in the college campus where all types of books are available and faculties are there to help students. many types of social groups and clubs are there in the college and students can join in the group ,they select students by taking audition and the qualified dtudents can join the group.College also provide website for students that help the students.
Hostel Facilities :
The college provide separate hostel for boys and girls. 12 hostel for boys and 4 hostel for girls are available. The hostel rooms are also good. 4 students per room. Both Ac and non ac rooms are available. They provide 4 times food in a day breakfast, luch,supper and dinner. The food quality is also good both veg and nonveg foods are available in the menu. The hostel fees for ac room is 1.30 lakh and non Ac room is 90k. There is hostel warden,caretaker, food makers, sweeper and other faculties are available in every hostel to help students and hostels are a little bit strict also . They don’t allow non-hostelers to the hostel without permission.You have to contact in the college admission section or in the student section to live i hostel and then you have to fill up and submit the hostel form.After verifying they will provide you your room. There are many pg rooms and rooms for rent are available near the college in Jagamara , Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar at affordable price.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
