Likes
- The roads and the greenery are well maintained which give a natural and peaceful vibe to the campus.
- The college buildings are well constructed with AC ventilation in each floor and well organised laboratories for students to experiment and learn in.
Dislikes
- More sports facilities need to be constructed here like a proper cricket ground, more badminton courts and a Gym and canteen for the students near the hostel.
- The washrooms in the hostels need to be cleaned more often and the some preventive measures should be taken against the monkeys that often visit the hostel rooms for food.
Remarks :
The admission is done via your NEET UG rank and your reservation and based on the availability of the seats. I got my admission in NEET UG 2023 counselling with NEET rank of 2856. My reasons for choosing this college include the distance from my home(as it is easy for me visit my family often), and the quality education I get to experience in a prestigious AIIMS college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the course of MBBS because it was my mother's dream to become a doctor and I took up on it onto myself to become one for her. The faculty at AIIMS Mangalagiri are well experienced and have multiple degrees and Phds with multiple years of teaching experience. Each professor has a unique style of teaching which helps students get exposed to and enjoy various teaching methods and learn the subject effectively. Exams are conducted roughly every 6 months in the form of Semester exams with few internals in between.
Internships Opportunities :
A 1 year compulsory internship is mandatory to be done by every MBBS student after the 4 and half year study. During internship a stipend of about 21000/- is given to each intern. The internship includes working in every medical department for one to two months and learn from the doctors there.
Placement Experience :
Placements here are not yet developed as of now but I think there will be few internals reservation seats in PGs for good performing students in the near future. As of now I think there are 2 to 3 seats campus placements per batch every year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees that inpaid as an MBBS student during my admission in 2023 was 5856/- for five and half years which included tuition fees, hostel fees, sports facilities usage fees and college premises usage fees but not mess fees which has to be paid monthly.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is really fun since I joined in AIIMS Mangalagiri. The students clubs here take upon themselves the tasks of organising events for various Festivities and also fests. The authentic fest being conducted here as of now is MAHAPARV which is not yet and Inter college fest but being planned to be made so. The Library here is pretty huge with so many books of International and Indian authors. Sports here as of now is still under development as the facilities for sports are being constructed. There are 2 tennis courts, one basketball court and a badminton court here as a now and a roughly made cricket ground.
Hostel Facilities :
Each hostel here has 12 floors with 10 double bed rooms per each floor. Boys hostel have a set of 4 washrooms and bathrooms at the end of each floor whereas PG and girls hostels have seperate washroom for each room. Food here is good enough at present compared to the previous vendor. The food bill is 3300 per month with special items(like chicken curry, panner curry etc) that can be bought seperately for every dinner. Hostel fees was paid at the time of admission for 5 and half years(about 900 rupees).

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
