I choose this college on the basis of reviews online through various websites. The admission process for me as i am a diploma student was through merit list based on the percentage of diploma marks. The college doesn't take any interviews for the selection process.
I choose this course because I checked all the reviews from the internet and this is one of the best colleges to learn civil engineering. The faculty members are highly qualified where few of them already have PhD and others are currently enrolled in PhD. Also, my department have staffs which have worked in sectors like ocean engineering, etc.
I did a internship at Maini Renewables which is a renewable energy company where I was a R&D engineer and project management intern. I was assigned on various renewable projects including the RCC work of the setup of the turbine, etc.
The college gives decent opportunities through campus placements. Companies like L&T, Tata, Adani, Capgemini visit the campus for placements. The eligibility criteria mainly is above 60% marks. The highest placement from our college was 72 lpa but it was off campus. The percentage of students getting placed are around 50% each year. My plan after i complete my degree is to do a job in my core field which is civil engineering.
The year wise fees in the college for general quota is Rs.1,17,000 in which the tuition fees are 1,03,541 rupees and development fees are 13,459 rupees. If you get EWS Scholarship then half of the fees of the total tuition fees are been paid by the government. The exam fees depends how much previous backlogs you have but the normal exam fees are around 500-1000 per semester which you need to pay separately. For caste like SC, the fees are around 13k only as they only need to pay the development fees.
Our college has various fests during the Feb-March month which includes cultural events like Sanskriti, various days such as traditional day, Bollywood day, etc. The library of the college is vast consisting various books through various fields. Classrooms are well maintained and the campus is great where daily cleaning happens. Each classroom has projectors. Sports event happen each year in the month of Feb - March. But, the college doesn't have its own ground to play. There are many clubs in the college to boost the personal growth. But,, the sad part is college doesn't fund the clubs to perform various programs in the college.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
