- Biasness on basis of region as some teacher give priority to south indian students more
- Groupism here is one the most disgusting key factor as here south indian people are given special treatment
Remarks :
To get into christ you need to pass their own christ exam and a personal interview and to be honest personal interview is most important deciding factor for your admission and christ pune lavasa has great and large campus with a good infrastructure and admission process to very fast here
Course Curriculum Overview :
Christ has one of the best course curriculum and has one the best academic faculties for data science to be honest christ focuses on more on personal and skill development they have cia ( continues internal assements ) which are marked for end semester which increases your skill , they also have value added course , multi displinary course and many more in their curriculam . Faculty here is very supportive and they are best in their field and uses many teaching aid which enhances our foundational roots of the course .
Internships Opportunities :
i worked christ infotech to make a website using node js it was a project for a website named Futurescape and its mainly used fort event registration and telling youth about the event happing at christ , for that i got internship in fisrt semester itself only
Placement Experience :
Here placement cells work hard and student do get place wither it google or Microsoft and highest package even got by student in this campus is 1500000 and recruiter from bajaj , reliance , Accenture etc have visited us , and around 85% student in class do get placed by college itself only and i would also try to get place in one of big 4 . Also here placement cell provides training and classes and internship from 1 semester itself
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Christ university pune lavasa campus have around 170000 per year fee for bca course and if you opt for 4 year which has specialization in it , that year will cost you around 220000 and 5000 is the registration fee for the same
Campus Life :
Christ pune have weekly departmental events going and one major event every 2 months one of their major event is ethnic day and blossoms and clubs at christ are more than needed and even you can also start your own club in the college . Department of sports organizes at yearly inter department and also intra department level competitions and also many other small events and lavasa has one the best sports facilities one a expect
Hostel Facilities :
hostel at christ pune is top notch and as we have our own personal rooms with attached bathroom and a dryer in common room , their no mess facility available in hostel but a mess facility in campus as our campus is opend 24/7 . Also to compensate that they have provided a common kitchen with induction , oven and micro to cook and also fridge to store items and to you can rent house in lavasa but their is no pg available here and to be honest shifting to private is more expensive than living in hostel , to my extent you should opt for hostel as it cheap and for 2 sharing it cost you around 80000 + 15000 security

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.
