They have a good marketing team, they are the one who make me take admission. The other campus like ibs mumbai, gurugram andHyderabad are good. And if you want to pursue in marketing this is a good college.
The campus is really small. But the faculty is really supportive expect the director is pathetic, she don't know how to talk to the parents and students. She is the only bad reason not to take admission in this college.
The interships was also a bad experience. As they bring the companies without crosscheck. And if any problem happens they don't reply. They don't listen to any of the problem the student is facing from the company.
If you want to pursue your career in finance, please don't come to this college as they only provide sales and field job for marketing. They mostly bought insurance and banking job which only required field job.
The fees of ibs pune for 1 year is 5 lakh approx. They have 4 semesters and one intership but they charge for all 4 semesters including internship. Each sem cost approx 1,65,000. And some other small fees deposit which they return when you complete the course.
The campus life is so much similar to school. They even scold for folding sleeve or not wearing belt. Other than that the classes have decent size. some faculties are supportive and helpful you with any problem.
I opted for pg near the college. You can get p.g. easily for 6-7k. Don't go for the college provided p.g. as they take rent for 1 year in advance and they don't have lift and food, which you can get this included in different p.g. for same price.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
