Remarks :
For getting into this college there is an entrance exam you have to appear. This is OUAT entrance exam. Physics, chemistry and biology of class 11th and 12th are the subject's for the entrance.You have to clear the cutoff mark to get a seat into it .The entrance exam is of 200 marks.Along with this 25% mark of 10th and 25% mark of class 12th are also evaluated + 50% mark of entrance exam. I came to know about this course after my 10th exam and after knowing much I thought that it will be good for my future.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is of 5 and half year,in which four year of study and one year of internship. This course bvsc and ah is of studying about animals and their treatments. Every year examination occur with regular intervals. There are three internal exams and at last annual exam in a year . The faculties are highly qualified with good ranks in national exams . The faculties are friendly and supportive in every field.
Internships Opportunities :
After completion of bvsc and ah course for four year, internship opportunity is there.This is of one year. Every month you will get paid some amount of money as stipend. You will get various opportunities to learn about treatment of animals and their management practices for economical purposes also.
Placement Experience :
After completion of this course there are various opportunities where you can do jobs.There is an OPSC VAS exam occur after the release of post vacancy in the state.Clearing this exam you will be posted at veterinary dispensaries in the state as VAS. You can also opt for pg in the college after ouat pg exam.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is as per the seat you got.There are two types of seats general and cost sharing.For general seat the tution fee is around ?15000.Other fees like caution fee, registration fee, development fee and other charges are summed upto ?10000.For cost sharing seat in addition to above fee extra 1lakh have pay.For categories like st,sc,pwd the fee structure is same.Of all the seats 60% is general and 40% cost sharing. There are also scholarships according to eligibility criteria. Scholarships may ranges from ?20000-?80000 per year.
Campus Life :
The campus is ofcourse small but very good in every aspect. The buildings are new and attractive. Different buildings for different departments. All the departments are clean and highly advanced with modern technologies. The labs are advanced,clean with modern and old both equipments. There is also a large library with different kinds of books Classrooms are smart classrooms with fans, smart board,lights,ac etc. One can also go for co-curricular activities like NCC,NSS and PE. There is also a student's committee in the college who organizes various functions in the college. Functions like veterinary day,milk day,animal day,vet fest day are celebrated every day with chaos.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is very nice. The infrastructure is wonderful. The hostel is 2 tier in which 82 rooms with mess,tv room, bathroom,guest room, common room etc are present. The food quality in the hostel is very good and taste like made in restaurant . Anybody can join hostel in any year according to choice after paying the fees. The hostel surroundings are are well maintained and clean.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
