- the quality of infrastructure was excellent. every classes and labs were properly equipped.all the teaching faculties were expert in their fields. many conferences, workshops and seminars were being organised related to the subject matter which provides a great hike in your CV.
- library was fully equipped with all sorts of national as well as international books upon a particular subject.
Dislikes
- workshops and seminars included charges other than fees for participationn and also for attending them.
- placement for life science department was not up to the mark.
Remarks :
no written examinations were carried for the process of admission. There is a direct process of admission based on the merit and cut off for the previous degree program. the facilities and infrastructure of the college is excellent. several co curricular activities are organised round the year, many fests are organised suchas grafest and diwali fests. course rrelated conferences, workshops and seminars were being organised for better understanding of the course.
Course Curriculum Overview :
biotechnology is a vast field in terms of growth and jobs both. it is an emerging field and has placements in all the sectors such as medical, teaching, digital platforms etc. faculty members are highly qualified for their jib and have better understanding of their subject. teaching method was advanced which also includes project method of teaching with day to day life experience.labs were moderately equipped.
Internships Opportunities :
last semester includes a dissertattion program without any stipend. I opted for jamia millia islamia centre of interdisciplinary sciences department for my traiuning program of 6 months. I worked under the project of protein aggregation mechanism and diseases related to it.
Placement Experience :
placement ratio is quite low in the deoartment of life sciences as compared to other departments. several companies like panacea, TCS, infosys also come. highest average package og 5 lakhs per year was given. only 40% students git the placement from the campus. biotech degree is quite useful as it opens many gates towards different fields such as medical, digital platforms, teaching etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
tuition fee per year was 50,000 for the students who secured 70 % or above in the last examination. scholarship of rs. 4000 was given to the students who secured 70% or above in the graduation. total yearly payment was about 1,79,800. women quota was also offered to the female candidates.
Campus Life :
fests are generally conducted during the months of may and november. library was highly equipped with all sorts of course related books and highly advanced books were also present such as lehninger and Albets. many seminars, workshops and conferences were being held by the departments. classrooms were well equipped with white boards, project method teaching aids and charts and diagrams related to the subjects.
Hostel Facilities :
there were N number of hostel such as saradar bhagat sing, sarojini naidu, sardar patel, sai hostels etc. two seater ac rooms were provided at rs.1,40,000 and three seater ac rooms of 1,20,000. non ac rooms facility was available for twin sharing at rs.1,15,000 and three seater at rs. 1,00,000 respectively. many PG were also located the campus. A registration fee of rs.3000 was deposited at the time of enytering the hostel which is refundable after vacating the hostel. quality of mess food was above average and various varieties of food was available in the menu.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
