My college strikes a great balance between academics and hands- on learning. While academically inclined, it also offers numerous clubs that help students apply theoretical knowledge practically. The infrastructure has evolved rapidly, with a new library, computer science and ECE buildings enhancing the campus experience. Most faculty members a re supportive , though a few can be challenging>I secured admission through comedk, with no GD and Pi rounds. Having studied at Narayana, I experienced a highly disciplined environment effective but not for everyone, as it can hamper ones growth in academics when there is pressure. Comedk is a much easier exam I made it to the merit list although I slept in the exam as I was tired to solve all the questions I solved some and then I slept for some time before attempting it again. Let's come to the main point I chose this college because of its placement records and Bangalore's opportunity. Overall , the mix of modern infrastructure, academics .
I was not interested in computer science since it's kinda boring not big to see. While in EEE there is a lot to learn although it might be tougher than all other courses in engineering its better to learn it and easier if interest is there.
In the first year, I paid 264000 inclusive of lab fees as there is a skill lab that happens twice a year and that cost 20000 per year. In the second year I paid 287000 inclusive of lab fees, since their was an increase in the fees it would likely increase but is not expected to cross the 3lakh mark.
There are a lot of fest like 8Th mile etc dates I am not sure, there are a lot of books when I say a lot I actually mean it a lot and if you need access to a particular research paper as the librarian or mail to the college you can get access to them like IEEE and Pearsons. Throughout the ear there are some sports competitions within the college as well as among colleges they are rebuilding the current infrasturcte so although for some amount of time it is not possibe to play. There are a lot of clubs in the college which are responsible for the fest like usually each department has their own fest so you are kinda rounded up on that there are a lot of clubs like the robotics, entrepreneurship , electric car racing, ic car racing , dirt racing ,drone clubs, aerospace clubs etc there a lot of them these are the few I mention that I can recall at the moment
Food quality is decent although not that great but they are relatively cheaper than other restaurants outside, there is a PG near the college which I have rented in order to have easy accessibility as I am not comfortable living in hostels which their common bathrooms and since I am from Bangalore they did not offer me a vacancy in the hostel.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
