I have an elder sister who is an alumni of Gargi College which is also a part of University of Delhi. She recommended me to take up this course and the college because it has a good name in the corporate areas and helps to stimulate your educational personality.
The difficulty of the course curriculum is moderate and as a newbie in commerce, it took a bit more time to understand the concepts but once you do, you can easily go ahead and complete the curriculum easily.
I opted for an internship from the college named Moonpreneur where I was responsible for teaching young students about skills like data analytics, excel and other important concepts that come in handy in corporate areas.
The placement and internship opportunities are great, for which the placement cell of the college is responsible and takes care of the end-to-end work from contacting the companies and placing the students.
The total fees paid by me for the first 2 years is around 30000 including the examination forms as well. Waivers are given to students with quotas or are from economically weaker sections and are not able to pay for the education.
The infrastructure of the college is good but the campus area is a bit small compared to other colleges of north campus of DU. Social life in the north campus area with friends from other colleges coming in too.
I did not opt for a hostel because there are PG services available easily in the north campus area but since hearing about it from my friends, the hostel is good with good accommodation and most importantly the food is good available in both preferences, veg and non-veg.

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
