Likes
- Infrastructure is good tho. The girls hostel looks more appealing than the college building itself. In arts block, there are lifts available.
- There's a small cooperative store, you can get snacks and beverages there.
- The canteen food quality is really good, I have tried veg plate there, and trust me the food quality is so good, you'll feel like you're eating home made food.
Dislikes
- In science block, there's is no lift. The rooms look like they are not renovated ever since they were made.
- You'll see students cursing openly and loudly in the corridor and inside of the campus
Remarks :
You have to give entrance exams to get admission in the course as it's a self financing course. There will be math, physics and English tests. You'll get admission as per the rank you achieve. Honestly, it doesn't matter which rank you get, you can always get admission if you have taken the entrance exam. Because this course is not that popular, students don't show much interest in this and usually teachers convince students to get admission here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course can be frustrating to pursue, as the coding teachers are not really good. And you may get problems in your math subject. There'll be minimum celebrations in the department. There'll be 2 semester in a year, and in each semester there'll be a mid term exam and an end term exam. You might get help from faculties for the mid term exam. But don't expect to get much help in preparing for the end term exam. You'll fully enjoy the electronics and electrical labs, but it's better not to talk about programming labs. The teachers and decorums will make you feel like you're still in school. I was convinced to take this course by faculties as any other student. Overall I wouldn't recommend you to get admission here.
Placement Experience :
Campus placements are held when you're in your 6th semester or 10 th semester. The highest package last year offered was 27000/- per month. Companies like wipro, tech Mahindra recruites from here. 60-65% students get placed every year. But the packages are very low.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For the BSc 3 years, 27,648/- is to be paid per year. For MSc 2 years, 38000/- (not accurate) to be paid per year. Male students will have to pay approximately 200/- more each time they pay for admission fee.
Campus Life :
Fresher program is conducted in between november and December. And farewell is conducted in between March and April. But in this department there's no certainty about mass celebrations. Campus Life is not good at all, you'll witness physical fights, agressive arguments, bullying and all every now and then. You can get books from libraries.

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
